182 Passenger Front Footwell Water Ingress

Most cars have a plastic membrane shielding the door card from water dripping in from the door/glass, but not on these.

    Changing Gearbox Oil

Yeah same 8mm square. The washer on the gearbox is a copper crush washer, can find them cheap in kits or individual on ebay. Look for M16 copper crush washers.

182 Passenger Front Footwell Water Ingress

Ahh yeah, you need to be a paid member to see it. Basically you need to take the door card off and redo the seals. You must be the other silver 182 i've seen around Warrington?

Either running down the seal from higher up or leaking through from behind the door card.

    Two techs Dartford

Top end job would involve taking the rocker cover off, which means the timing belt will need to come off. £700 is a good ball park number.

    Power Tool Perverts

No you need 10 guages to verify that the pump is correct.

    Power Tool Perverts

Well obviously not if its 25psi out it would be broken and you'd spot that with a second gauge. What i should have said is, if you know it's out you can dial in a few extra psi to compensate.

As long as you use the same gauge every time, it wont matter if it's out compared to another. My Halfords pump is 1-2psi out compared to my Longacre racing gauge, but i always use that to check pressures so the readings are relative to me.

I'm guessing the outer bushes where it's clamped to the lower arm, but worth checking the inner bushes as well.

AC compressor makes clip clip noises... Like a horse?

Idle shouldn't be that low. 1000-1100rpm with AC on. Worth getting the timing checked by Birchdown.

    Wiper mechanism revamp?

You mean the wiper arms? Just give them a light rub down with a fine/medium scotchbrite cloth pad and then a panel wipe before spraying with satin black.

    Power Tool Perverts

Aye, you can't argue with Snap-on hand tools tbh. No wonder some try to copy them. Sometimes hard to justify the cost, but in most cases they do warrant it. That's not to say that there aren't very good alternatives out there.

Yeah if I was getting one now it would be the high speed long neck.

    Power Tool Perverts

I've got the 3/8 long neck, it's the same 75Nm as yours. The newer high speed one is lower at around 45Nm I believe and it benefits from a narrower profile head for tighter areas.

If you want to do Renault wheel bearings, you'll need at least 20T from experience. They can be stubborn and go with a right bang when they eventually press free.
