I think you're looking in the wrong direction with the hydraulic side of the rear brakes
If the rear wheels only recorded 28kgf on the MoT (presumably not locking) there's no way they should be locking when driving,
I would be looking at how the cars load transfer is either drastically...
I'm guessing there aren't that may specialists on the Isle of Man, If you are a decent mechanic you'll be fine,
if you just like to tinker on a weekend probably best off having a drive to the mainland.
Why don't you set it for 4am and do the pads and wheel swap in the morning, you don't want to be getting the car ready for tomorrow too early do you! :smile:
