Ive just this minute tackled my wheels that ive taken off my derv... My CV split and spewed grease everywhere! I used bilberry, some TFR, a store card and a wheel brush. Started off like this... I sprayed some TFR on and let it soak in a minute. Then got the store card and scraped off the...

It really isn't hard! Spray on a generous amount of billberry let it soak in, spray on a bit more, agitate it with the brush, rinse repeat if necessary.

You might find theres a miniscule split in the boot, won't necessarily be covered in grease.... you shouldnt have any sort or grease on the wheels...

It does look slightly high, maybe its had new rear springs/shocks and it hasn't settled properly yet? Although the front looks like it's going on a rally stage...

Id advise getting your CV boots/joints fixed to prevent the grease leakage in the first place! Billberry wheel cleaner and washing up liquid with an old dish washing brush is quite effective :)

If your a week ahead and blind, best you set off now so you make it there in time ;) hehe!

If I'm totally honest, roughly 65-70mph, it occasionally creeps up to 80. The rest of my journey is A roads at 40-50ish, plus the odd quick get away off the traffic lights and toll booths. lol

No mention of service history...? Fairly tidy, no A/C - if that bothers you, that is - Steering wheel is a bit minging... Worth a look I spose, just get someone to stand behind the car on tick over to make sure it doesn't smoke, also when you give it a little rev.

Seen worse owned by members on here! Refurb the wheels silver/athracite, put a skoda splitter on and it'll be lovely. Seens a decent price, cambelt/service history depending...

the tax on my 100 is £30... one of the 3 versions is £35 iirc.

56mpg is alright, I'm currently on 63.4mpg, thats mainly steady motorway cruising. Mines an un-badged 100 :)

My dad has had the engine stripped out of my bro's 65 and the turbo and pipes were totally caked with sh!t. the only way to really find this out is to strip them down! Just make sure it hasnt been driven like a granny all its life - this will cause the build up. I aim to give at least 2 full rev...

Id go with 5 years/72k as normal... The normal service schedule is slightly shorter than petrols. The water pumps can begin to weep after a while, for the sake of £40 or so its easier to replace it at the same time as the cambelt etc.

Out of those I would negotiate on price I.e £1950 or so... make sure its had the cambelt, water pump etc Other than that, I would suggest finding one without a sunroof! lol Only because mine is driving me insane!

iirc the tail light and fog light lenses are reflective. Just don't do it, it looks cack. All IMO of course.
