How would they know it's a common issue? You forget they see all sorts of cars, and unlikely frequent Cliosport to know it's a normal issue.
And tbh, the airbag light being on is quite a serious issue imo.
I get what you're saying and all, but imo I don't agree at all!
She wont pay anything, insurance will likely go up for being involved in an accident as you have to declare accidents in the last 5 years and it'll all count towards a higher premium, even with a non-fault. Statistics show (so they say), you're more likely to have another accident within 3 years...
What tyres?
I get a similar thing with new Hankooks - there's a 1 second or so delay compared to turning of the wheel, then the car turns (and then feels like it corrects as well after that) - similar to what you're saying!
Rented sounds even more dodgy though - what if you bin it? :P
Tbh, it looks better standard (the last few pics).
There was too much black on it after everything was colour coded, and black wheels just makes it even worse. Shame you're selling as it actually looks really nice now :P
Just get the screw out and replace the glass, you can pick up non-genuine glass cheap, and it'll do until the new one comes out. Should be cheaper than buying a new phone too.
If he's quoting £240 its NOT the cambelt, and is probably the aux belt (for that price). Therefore I'd avoid purely as they clearly don't know what they're talking about to quote that.
