Best Splitter for 182 NOT K-TAX!

You can't break the Fabia one anyway :], it's made of a rubbery plastic!

    A Ruined Z3.

"Too Low" "Can't drive that" "Ruined" "Looks Broken" "Bet it drives like s**t" I like the wheels :].

Best Splitter for 182 NOT K-TAX!

Fabia ones are 12 quid, so infinitely better as you'd be insane to pay the original prices for something that will also break (this goes for carbon too).

    Which insurance would you choose?

    +1 to Brentacre.

    How to make exhaust quieter

As above definitely not standard, that's pretty damn loud!

    How to make exhaust quieter

Some of the stainless are probably quieter, but it's hard to say without a video :) You could get an "original" but theyre made of cheese and won't last too long!

    How to make exhaust quieter

New standard exhaust, probably a pattern part which will be why it's not quiet!

    Re-furbed the Type R wheels

+1 to this, spent a few hours prepping mine, and ran out of time to do the rears (did them a month or so later), the difference in cleaning time was insane, and they always had a much better look after being cleaned too. Can't recommend this stuff enough!

    Re-furbed the Type R wheels

Looks nice but as above you are gonna hate them when they go dirty after 5min!

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

There aren't that many good 140mm fans, so I personally wouldn't bother (I looked around 6 months ago and there are literally no good ones).

Insurance wrote my car off 2 years after accident occured

I'd still argue it, 12 days is nothing when it takes 2 years to add the accident to the HPI imo.

    Tyre size options

As above, 182's run it as standard, and I have 172 Turini's and also run 205's, they sit perfect :) Dont see how tyre width would have an affect on speedo though, it's only the profile or rim size that would do that surely?

Call Of Duty ~ Advanced Warfare

Probably just another recycled game, but we shall see, kinda hoping it isn't.

    Changing VGA connectors

HDMI is DVI with audio, so please, upgrade to DVI - it's SO much better than analogue. edit: If the monitor is VGA only, get a new monitor and do it all properly :D it's not what you want to hear, but your only option if you want to keep all the analogue stuff is to put a new connector on the...

    Changing VGA connectors

Upgrade from VGA, it's hideous and such low bandwidth I'm amazed people are still using it :P

    £908 for cambelt, Aux & dephaser !?!

Probably still cheaper to get the ferry across and drive to a specialist (and probably do a better job too).

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

Looks tidy, got a lot of love for this case, I'd of gone for one if I could fit everything into it! Though I hear Parvum are making bigger ones soon, so we'll see whether or not it's worth chopping in my Carbide 540 for :)

My new 172- Have i got an mpg issue?

Go 60mph on motorway and reset MPG counter, it should go over 40mpg. If it doesn't probably a faulty lambda sensor.

    Tools for the job

A jack, axel stands or something to secure the car when its up there would be useful. A socket set, breaker bar (for wheels), general screwdrivers. If you are wanting to service it, an oil filter wrench would be useful too.

    Hancook ventus v12s?

Pressures are correct and freshly fitted with tracking checked, as per my thread on them either there's a defect or something else funky going on :)

    Hancook ventus v12s?

I have, always used to run them but right now I'm not impressed - just bought a new set of 4 and they're REALLY soft (as in the sidewalls - when you turn it takes what feels like a second or 2 for the tyre to actually adjust, that or the sidewall is moving.. - must be the sidewall tbh as the...
