21 Years old builds rally car that goes from 0-200km faster than any supercar!

Awesome! Goes like f**k and sounds amazing! All done by him in a shed. Excellent job. Someone will be giving him a job for sure.

  Suzuki Jimny
That noise!

Obviously had the financial backing to build it though, certainly not knocked together with cable ties.

  Renault Clio MK3
As impressive as this is and I am definitely jealous, but this guy clear has a lot of money backing him, and that 'barn' he is in is surrounded with other cars... He must have a team of people helping him

Yeah, "Rich kid builds fast car in barn that's bigger than average UK house" probably won't get as many views though, everyone loves sensationalism.

How much would it cost just to get hold of an engine from a Renault F1 car?

The noise is f**king awesome though, fair play for that - I'd probably do something similar if I could.

Immensely talented fella.

In terms of acceleration though that's not exactly unique, with short ratio boxes you will get faster acceleration - Liam Doran's DS3 Rallycross car will beat a F1 car to 60. (it does also have 600bhp, but it's restricted to that)

Very impressive but going by the 'barn' and engine choice, I don't think the budget was tight.

Wow, what an intelligent bloke, fair play to him.

lol @ people saying he had financial backing, of course he did. You know when Concorde was built that didn't cost a tenner.

Building a car , even a kit car and modifying things to be right to a very high standard is not easy , certainly not at 19 ,even if you grew up around motorsport , engineering and the like .

Getting a fast high powered car together even buying in and getting help is a pretty big task , even with unlimited budget so fair play to him .

OK he has wealthy parents who support him, and he has a talent for bending cars , but fair play on the graft and commitment needed to pull that off.

2wd rally car?.........not that bright! Lol

Awsome car in my opinion. Imagination and a clear vision of what you want gets you something like that. Funds obviously feed the project though. Fair play to both the lad and parents/funder.

My comment was abit tongue in cheek tbh. A modern evo/scoobie chassis however would tear a lancia 037 a new asshole group b or not. Granted 2wd's aren't slow especially on tarmac but on gravel there is no comparison......other than how cool an escort looks at full chat sideways.

What a cracking build.

Money aside for whoever doesn't like the fact he has some, there is a lot of skill and talent involved in this.

Fair play.

Hats off to him! School is not for everyone!

I know what a 21yr old me would have done with that sort of financial free reign........
