@Andy P thanks mate, just a 182 wheel needed then to get the controls? Were the squibs expensive?
Would I also get esp as I dont have a switch currently
I should have started a build thread, I might have had the advice to bin it and get a tidier example😆
I've got photos though, shall I bombard your thread with them?
Did my underside restoration this summer including powdercoating the beam, on a 172 though it's pretty difficult to get to the lip on the chassis because the spare wheel well gets in the way.
So if I connect my meter up in series with the battery, shut the bonnet and lock is to test the draw with the alarm set I should get a true result. I'll post my findings if this is correct
Out of interest for the last week or so I've left it unlocked and it's starting where as it would normally be pretty flat by now. Could it be the alarm causing the drain once armed and how do I check that?
Oh crap sorry, I forget now but pretty sure it was sub 10mA but it must be killing my battery somehow. Would the alternator drawing back require testing in a different way?
Looking to replace the track rod ends on my 172, carparts for less have the lemforder ones £30 a pair with discount. Not a bad price but anywhere cheaper that anyone knows of?
