My key fob is rough as hell, where's the best place to get a good replacement shell, Ebay ones any good?

Got mine on eBay unclip old ones put key in and swap battery. Good as new and probably Alot cheaper than a specialist

Can't tell you where I got it but there's plenty too choose from as you probably know

You can get silicone boots for them too to protect them in future. Search ebay, got couple for mine ages ago.

New fob came, works a treat and looks pretty much like an original Renault apart from the lack of Renault written on it

Which is always a good thing.

That's always a good thing, imo. Lose your key and you've immediately helped scroats to head towards potential cars that your keys could work with.

Which one did you get? Mine's pretty tired after nearly 16 years!
