Renaultsport Clio guide (the relavent bit for you is cup packs. The only thing r.e. cup packs that this guide does not tell you is that the 54mm (?) spacing on the "cup packed" shock absorbers mean there is very very little aftermarket choice, so if you intend on getting coil-overs get one...
Shiver down my spine, at the thought of what happens when the inevitable one misjudgement occurs and they rear end a completely innocent taxi or a family on the way to an airport.
Fast cars, nice exhaust noises and lots of limiter action but sickening to watch.
To an extent it's simply pot luck regarding what is for sale when you look and where you live and/or are prepared to travel to. I only looked at one 172 cup when I bought my RS and it was absolutely mint inside and out, FSH, low-ish milage, refurbed wheels and even had the "1, 7, 2, c, u" and...
Haven't used them as I've got xenons, but time and time again the Osram Nightbreakers come up & get recommended in these sorts of threads. That can only be a good thing.
Is this sort of thing GPS based? Small difference I know but my speedo (and plenty of others) over reads by at least 3 MPH when going slowly and more like 5 MPH at motorway speeds compared to the trip computer (though thinking about it this would make the 0-60 time even longer) Out of curiosity...
Nutter doing it between traffic and across junctions. Still wouldn't want people drifting around the outside of me on a dual carrageway but at least he was clearly very experienced.
Pictures of the roll cage are astonishing, sure it deformed a fair amount, but amazing that pretty much one cross brace took the entire shunt and of course most importantly it undoubtedly saved the driver from massive injuries. The whole thing is sickening but it was especially frightening how...
This is a budget build, so slapping an extra £50 on for an SSD doesn't really make sense. I do however agree that 3 TB sounds excessive. What's more is 1TB (Bill Oddie Edition) + 2TB (compromise edition) doesn't seem an ideal way around to do things in terms of performance, it's a setup more...
No because reading/writing DVDs is about a million* times slower than reading/writing your hard drive. Even if you had an SSD the data would still come off the DVD at the same speed. The only useful thing there is to say about optical drives for the average user is that the budgets ones are...

The general advice around here is that above 6000k is when your car becomes noticable due to blue-tinged lights. Your take on that depends how much you like getting pulled over by the police or whether "blu zenons look siiicccckkkkk man"
Does it have one of these :p

The CM "Elite Power" is AFAIK a rebranded "Extreme Power Duo." To be fair these were the best budget/cheapy solutions available. They're nosiy and need updating (I see they've been discontinued actually!) but they provide decent power (none of this 12v +- 1.0 or being 200w over-rated) have a...
Can't vouch for service, reliability or quality but the price is fantastic and this is the correct fitment. I found this link on here a while ago and had it bookmarked for when i need it:

My head unit was catching on all the child lock/hazards/whatever-the-3rd-one-is wiring. Instead of flowing over the top of the headunit it was being pushed behind the headunit where there then wasn't enough wiring to push the head unit all the way in. Solved by taking the fascia for the hazards...
TBH I'm just waiting for a "I paid 3k for a mint 172 but it says 1200cc on the V5..." thread xD
Presumably people with 1.2 powered reps don't try to be "rapid y0" when people are looking? surely?
I guess the answer is both, but are people making sport reps because:
A) 1*2 bumpers, arches, wheels, painted strips etc look nicer & sport interior is nicer to be in
or B) They want people to think that they have a sport?
I'd like to think predominantly A, but the modified non-sports...
You'll need an ISO to HU adapter which will come with the HU (head unit) and a stalk control adapter which can be bought from caraudiodirect.co.uk amongst other places (for about £20, there are two pieces to the kit which are purchased seperately - one part is to fit the renault stalk, the other...
You're right, for a start are there even any other 27inch AIOs? nevermind one with a dedicated GFX card, a high spec screen and decent-ish CPU.
It's the same as pretty much anything else that comes in different shapes and sizes - it just depends on your needs. I'm not a fan of traditional...
Now that there's been lots of really useful posts I feel i can elaborate on the cost issue a bit more without feeling guilty :p Calling macs a cost "issue" is an understatement worthy of FLOL'ing. Mac Pro "upgrades" cost hilarious amounts of money:
RAID Controller - £584... a decent one can be...
P.S. Good luck with this presentation, hope it goes well!
As it's for work I'm assuming this could be pretty serious so it's well worth putting your own opinion aside. Your second sentence shows that you've already made up your mind as to which is better! We don't know the details but obviously...
As people have said the absolute nail on the head in this thread is about where you are using them and what for. People can throw around generic statements (windows is s***, macs are faster, all windows PCs get viruses all the time) all they want but the massive majority of them are plain wrong...
User manuals for previous cars have always said that in the event of losing the code the original dealer who registered it will be able to tell you.
Alternatively I did come across a thread on here which had a link to a website where you put in your VIN and it returns you the radio code... this...

The short of it is that for a RS clio (sorry, don't know if you mean a "clio sport" as in the 1.2s, 1.4s etc or a proper RenaultSport Clio 172/182/197/200) the standard airbox setup produces better overall air flow than any cone filter...
EDIT: Beaten to it, but no, that seems rather high?
Ktec, for example, will give you the cam belt kit & auxilary belt kit for £140 odd (admittedly that's based on them doing the labour)
