Bell Standard Policy Document
Page 7, section 3, about halfway down:
Page 25, section 11:
For a FF 182 then, they are saying that your wheels, spoiler, splitter, springs, shocks and uprights are not covered if you do not declare them.
I was rather shocked to hear this and did end up...
Latest 172s are 04 plates. Until the above post I was "pretty sure" that the earliest 182s are on 04 plates.
As others have said - 182 has twin exhausts and the 172 has a single hidden exhaust (but many 172 now have aftermarket exhausts as the standard one corrodes rather quickly) Obviously...
£93 to insure the CUP packs on my 182. Yes, really. In the eyes of Bell 3mm lower is still "manz gt a slammed clio" thus expensive.
And yes, the policy wording does state that you have to declare all optional extras as well as mods. Not very happy about this.
So you want to take the RS but can't due to mileage and and slightly lower fuel economy? That leaves you with the 206.
It's really a question then of comfort vs cost & mileage. We can all agree that the Clio would be a much better car to take, but only you know how much saving £40 in fuel and a...
I suppose the model answer to this thread is a polite reminder that for £12 you can join CS and get access to lots of things including the guides section. I imagine this is the guide you'd be looking for... Guide for Fitting Aux iPod cable to Standard Headunit
The gist of that thread...
I don't buy the "it can't be converted" part at all as you can simplify L/100KM > MPG into a conversion factor (0.00235 ish) and my ECU certainly is capable of multiplication or it wouldn't be able to run an engine letalone coordinate ESP, ABS and all the rest. Infact the fact that it can...
I'll keep this short & sweet. P1.50 and P1.52 of the owners manual suggest that when cycling through the trip functions it displays "current consumption" between "average consumption" and "estimated range."
My car however (05 plate) seems to lack "current consumption."
Q: Is this normal...
Sorry, but I can't reists the urge to point out that logic would dictate that the "upstream" one is the one before the cat (i.e. between cat and engine) and the "downstream" one is after the cat (i.e. between cat and back box)
I will stress that other than some very obvious sounding wording, I...
Obvious answer is apparantly not so obvious: Weld the mounts and clips back on... If you don't have them, obtain them from a scrapped clio.
Picturing the two brackets that hold the bench in place, it seems unlikely that you could attach them any other way as bolting them in would possible...
On the plus side, I like the wheels and the rally-look wide arches. Nice to see you following through with an 11 year old project too, I think nearly all would have given up and sold it by now!
I won't mention the spoiler, gold bits or the interior :L
This is probably going to sound obvious, unhelpful and depressing but... at least it'll be worth the wait :)
I'd been looking on autotrader literally every day from early december to late march for 172/182s within 30 miles of oxford and there was consistently absolutely nothing, irrespective...
Re: Just Crashed!
So you were 50 yards away, the highway code's stopping distance from 30mph is 25 yards... Assuming your car is road worthy then 20m odd is missing here due to something not mentioned yada yada
As per standard internet forum rules, I shall wait till I have at least 750 posts before trolling/fail-pic-spamming silly threads...
I am genuinly curious to see how (bad?) this 172 will look though :p
I removed my standard head unit the other day and found the release mechanism was nothing short of flimsy to say the least.
Put one key in the top and the other key in the bottom hole, rotate them till the little notches bite and unhook the HU one side at a time. I presume you've...
As above,
BG 182 FF
...but missing the front splitter (screws are still in under side of bumper though so i guess it was removed/nicked/snapped at some point)
I for one would like to know how often he has to replace tyres due to the stupid amount of camber. Looks like it's got a fair bit of toe in at the back too in pic 3.
I spose as it's not my cup of tea at all, and I think it sounds awful, I should just keep quiet really :rasp:
I too fail to see any hint of gold in my "Black Gold" 182 but oh well. Google images can be quite handy to get an idea what various colours look like, although obviously some resprays are better than others. I personally think black looks utterly **** on a Black Gold:
Maybe black looks...
Think you'll find that's the case with any gaming-of-the-past buddy :p Whilst epic, playing old games can be a bit of a letdown as they visually look rubbish compared to BC2, Far Cry 2, Crysis 1 etc.
Mind you, it may not be HD but the scenary in Gran Turismo 4 still looks genuinly impressive...
All BBM would gain you besides the "BB hype ting" is free messaging to other BB owners, which you really ought to have anyway (in the way of free texts) on a phone contract worth circa £750 over 18 months!
Admittedly not with a BB, but I do the whole "carrying around a phone AND an iPod touch"...
Saw this on the TV coverage of the Goodwood Festival of Speed once, interesting technical excersise but I'd like to know exactly how many Espaces were sold as a result...
Thanks for the confirmation, much appreciated. Haha, I guess it had to be said, but yes I will be replacing both at the same time t ensure a matching colour :)
Last time I looked the fastest home connection is 40 Gb/s (Yes, I do mean giga bits / second) which funnily enough belongs to the Mother of the CEO of Cisco or something (google "40 Gb/s internet") and that Seoul is the fastest city averaging 100 Mb/s.
Hello,
(had a search but personally not found anything specific/conclusive)
I have a 182 thus xenons. Q: Which bulbs are xenons? Just the fogs, beams, dipped or a combination of some/all?
After that (and taking a look to see which bulb has gone) I think I'm fine as I gather from other...
