Either BTB/Yozza stealth. Or if not standard, i ran mine with a decat (standard) and it was spot on.Not too expensive either,

No, same boot. The holes for fixing are different, so if you want to swap spoilers you either need to get holes filled and repainted, or a new boot lid.
It is wrong when you can get a rattle can from halfords for under a tenner. Took me about 20 mins and left them to cure in the airing cupbord, jobs a good un!
You not notice the rack? That was the biggest difference over the two imo
Also the slight more grunt low down for me is not the engine, but the gearing........ 1/2/3 are shorter than a 197
He stated he didnt know if anthracite wheels were an option, i take that as being on their own. Anthracite alloys are part of the cup option.
Anyway, i average around 30 on the trip. Thats a mix of A/B road driving. Main journey is a 35 mile round trip. My last 197 was around 28 ish, but that...
Edited. No such thing as a ff (sorry its one of my hates) How can full fat apply to a car thats not fully loaded. In 182 history a 182 ff was deemed a 182 with all cup options, ie fully loaded = full fat ;)
Somehow its been lost in translation..............
Anthricite alloys weren't an...
From the Wheel specialist (was Manchester branch) This it was their TWS Silver 2 iirc (i asked for loads of flake) I was impressed with them, and i'm fussy lol
Interesting, a "high performance 182 gearbox" in a 172 cup. Strange as a 182 uses ABS sensors to drive the speedo, and a 172 Cup has a direct drive from the gearbox?
^Also really like this, makes me want a 182 Cup lol! I have a thing for an Inferno Cup at the mo :S
Dude, drop the txt speak.
Anyway, i'd disconnect the battery just to be safe. If your swapping like for like seats, its bolt in/out. However, you need to gain access under the car, and will need a deep 13mm socket.
Just get an RS tuner, and do it your self. An RS tuning remap wont be £180 better ;)
Saying that, on a phase 1 not sure if a remap will help idle as it has a cable TB
A RS tuner will map a lumpy idle speed (and riase it slightly) I got one specifically for that reason. Worked a treat. SO get a second hand one, unlock it, load up the 98ron map, sell it on. Doing it that way costs no more than about £30..................... However if its proper lumpy, it could...
