Anyone got a guide to removing the front doors off the hinges on a 172? Is it a case of just knocking the pins out and unbolting the check strap?

As far as I’m aware this beam looks the same as a normal 1*2 beam but has a hub type bearing with separate disc rather than the bearing pressed into the disc. Is this a Proper cup racer beam?

They’re ACW windows and won’t come out ? bounded in to well lol so I’m keeping the doors incase something happens to the fibreglass doors on the grey shell.

Need to move the Cup shell around so made a dolly out of a sturdy pallet and some castor wheels from screwfix. Works a treat car moves around like it’s on ice. Slightest of nudge and it’s off lol. The shell is ready to be scraped now with everything I want/need off it. And finially...

Nick at Puremotorsport ran one in his race 172. He was planning on producing them be decided against it as it was too risky. I haven’t heard of any others for sale either.

I’m 6ft2 and reach fine with a PMS shifter.

I know @Nafoff had pretty good customer service from them which is what made me order mine rather than build my own, but my kit has different ends fitted compared to @Nafoff even tho there the same kit, so clearly has no actual real data, log of ends used etc Mine has all straight fittings...

Nah he didn’t, he met me half way aswell ?? I posted him all my suspension so he could get it rolling and did a deal. Needs a little tlc but it’s a racer so nothing unexpected. Need to get rid of mine, tidy up the garage and get cracking.

I’ve just fitted these LED lights from screwfix. Really pleased with them. Currently on 13a plugs using an extension lead from the house lol, as I’m in the middle of getting electric to the garage
