hmmmm ive driven a 200 Cup a fair bit, and its not the massive upgrade its made out to be. Yes, bit better lower down, i like the quicker rack on cupped cars, but you'd not pull massive chunks out of a 197. Once wound up your're splitting hairs imo
Eh, i'd call a 172 to a 182 as a side step, the MK3 is a completely different car in terms of handling/feel/refinement. Only thing thats similar is the speed, but then so is a MCS CTR etc etc
I sold my 197 that i had for 18 months about this time last year. Went back to a 172 Cup of which i'd...
Anybody got an interior pic?
I'm looking specifically for the 'Renault Sport' decal on the passenger dash strip. Us 197 owners don't get it, so want a decal making up :o
Cheers
Believe it or not, the Clio better built. My gf had a 106 GTI for a year, and a Saxo VTR before that. The difference in 'feel' was night and day! Also if MK2 Clio, NCAP 4 star............
Never really been into upgrading audio stuff, but the Radio in the 197 cup is pretty basic tbh. So i want to improve the sound quality/bass of the system. I will be getting some Alpine unit through MT Audio i feel, so that's a start....... Now, i have x2 existing Infinitiy speakers which are the...
Yes mate, look like this (ie awesome)
Might need some fine wire wool and some metal polish to bring them back up. Did mine at the weekend, came up a treat!
Must be a personal thing but i'm not a big Nimbus fan really. Think it looks ace in the sun, but in the UK we dont get enough, so...
For me its a phase 2 172 (especially in silver, soooooooooo non descript, and the most soft/least focused. That, and an un cupped 182. These are the least interesting for me!
I'd take an Inferno 182 Cup, no problem, has the chassis and AC.
