No doubt. Seems worldwide it's done better, but it's a rarity on UK roads. There's no doubt (in my mind) that a manual option would make it even more successful. I saw more 200's in 10days in Cape Town, than I have since they were released over here.
But in all honesty, the Fiesta would still...
I've done dozens of track days in 1*2's. They soaked it up, light and simple. My r26 and 200 didn't cope as well with track work.
If it's mainly track work, I'd be tempted by a type R, fit an lsd, and have something that won't constantly feel fragile.
Help/advice needed, I've no idea about these things.
Wife is in hospital, will be (hopefully) for a couple of months. Internet connection isn't great, can you get pay as you go dongle type things?
Route planning on Waze can be laughable compared to Android Tomtom. Tried it after reading positive reviews on pistonheads. Folks will put up with a lot when somethings free!
It's good for a free app. But Tomtom is much, much better if you're happy to pay. I've used both very regularly, and Tomtom picks up traffic that doesn't show on Waze, and the route calculations are a lot better. Waze has also missed closed routes that Tomtom picks up.
It's the best free...
They look great in black. Id be removing the bad boy tints.
I'd definitely get a short shift sorted, it's an enormous improvement with no downside. They really are underpowered as standard, stage 1 remap makes a massive difference.
There are advantages (full digital), but yes. I refuse to believe anyone is surprised by Apple trying to lock users in to their products. Always been the way, always will.
