That's the thing with calculated airflow and calculated injection. You can calculate exactly what it'll do!
mine runs a bit rich now as on the proper way i can't get more than 42mg/str in. By fooling the injection calibration i now spray around 50mg/str which is the pump limit anyway...
Ofcourse everything can be done mate, you just need to find the best way to do it.
i'm sorry for the confusion, i thought 65 and 80 had a maf too.
So i assume the 65 and 80 calculate airflow by boost vs air temp, which with the system the 100 uses is in my favour as it would be easier to swap...
It's exactly the same mate, part nr's match.
yeah maybe mike could tell if het has more airflow. If he does it's probably down the the compressor. So bigger turbo time :D
I do have a used gt28rs for you if you'd like.
when doing on a budget i'd suggest finding some megane pistons and aim for 280 or some.
Not thát much more expensive than low boost but alot more fun!
I'm sure it's a maf and also on your car. These ecu's work with maf, no difference in 65, 82, 100 or 106.
i have an mpps clone which works great. Also have another one here as the order went wrong but they're cheap enough from ebay.
i have no idea why i can't get airflow up, it could be the...
Only thing the map sensor does is cater for boost control.
we DO have a maf sensor, it's on the airfilter. I've found calibration maps for the 106 engine which show the maf goes to 1000+ so it should be able to read more than the 750mg/str it reads now.
i've had my boost press up from 1.25...
I haven't spent much time with it lately. I've been busy mapping the dci and found another problem. I can't get more air in....
i do get the boost pressure up but the calculated airflow doesn't change...
You won't need any brackets on the mk1 Ben, only 2mm washers to bring the calipers in a bit.
regarding the squealing, they do it during light (normal) braking....
And what needs to be filed?
i have them on the 9 now but really hate them tbh. They squeel like f**k!
@ ricardo
a dutch company made the brackets, they can be bought for €95 incl bolts.
than you just need the calipers and pads...
Having bought a set of new wheels for my Dci it's time for tyres too.
The marks/types i'm particularly curious about are:
Continental sport contact 2
Pirelli p zero nero
Yokohama s.drive
I have had toyo t1-r's in the past and while they stick like mad in the dry they suck in wet and wear...
Hhhmmm strange, well it could've been a sensor misread so maybe you have the possibility to connect a diagnose machine?
If fuel pressure gets below target the whole dash will illuminate, so if the sensor had some kind of hickup that could've been the case...
i wouldn't be too worried about the...
I've found them mate, if i had found them before i'd never went through the hassle to buy all original parts.
so the wires are directly the same collor as on the back off the white connector?
don't need them now mate but if you're on the pc you could mail them if you want.
