Lol, didn't make it any clearer tbh but i'll have a shot at it soon. Although mine doesn't work now but i did enable it in the ecu...
squib installed, steering wheel installed and switch installed.
i'm in the same boat atm. i've just fitted all the cc parts to my dci and used my own delphi diagnostcs to set the cc to "enabled". just a few minutes ago a had a clip connected but we couldn't get it to work. if only i found this before i could have give it a go!
going to try it asap and will...
If you really want to you could do switchable maps in the oe ecu by planting an eeprom on top of the original after you have programmed the complete original flash on that one too.
disconnect the ground of each eeprom and connect them with a switch.
it's dirty but it's possible and a hell of a...
The "rest" really only is the alu housing in which the roller rolls, that's the weakest part in the whole pump and probably by a reason.
the siemens pump won't work as the feed is regulated by 2 sort of imv's. You could make the feed imv mechanical by putting a return in the system although...

simple maths tell me 2 1mm oversize pistons will be enough for around 160bhp...
would be interested in more details! sure he should have had a project thread or the likes?
keeping torque lowish would be the best approach to save the box!
you're crazy mate! no chance i'll be spending that amount of money on the little dci!
i think i'll try to see what i'm able to get out of it with stock hardware first and if the nozzles are the problem then upgrade them taking it step by step.
will that work then probably a bigger turbocharger...
i'm getting more and more clued up on the mapping side of things so maybe i'll be able to do that myself.
maybe the lad has fitted the 106 nozzles? although i still hope the tdci nozzles will fit as i already have a calibration map for them....
are you bidding on 501z injectors? as it wouldn't...
