Blue book states must be complete units so I would guess that would include your idea and make it a no.

For MSA events such as Tricolore, as Jamie states..harness in date 4 point minimum and they are checked. Seats are only checked for rigid fitting but not date.
Tricolore races are generally on the Saturday Josh so we are at Oulton on the 3rd. With regards to times, Class A are around 2:02 iirc. I'm looking at around 2:07 in Production spec.
So next event is Silverstone on August 15th. Four Clios entered in our Production Class and what looks like a good entry list in all other classes. It should be good fun.
Also remember that you are in a road car that is suitable for a bit of fun on a race track. Keep your sessions reasonably short - 20 mins max. Mechanical sympathy means you won't be breaking things and spoiling your days. Decent pads are worth looking at otherwise you will probably only manage...
Cooksports give a slightly lower drop than sportlines but not a great deal. Next step is Apex, some people don't rate them but they don't do mine any harm :wink:
No keeping the black one to circuit race in. Cup will be my new daily but also to have a go at hillclimbing in roadgoing production class and my wife wants to have a go at a trackday or two as well. So it's an ideal allrounder.
