My biggest worry with a decat is increasing the flat spot that these cars suffer from.
Can be mapped out but of course an added cost and inconvenience.
As for noise I'm not sure tbh.
Buy a set of decent second hand recaros or don't bother buddy.
They look gash and when you start adding subframes, sliders etc you won't be far off the price of the recaros, the recaros will also be easy enough to shift on afterwards if required.
Yes they work very well - had them on 2 x 182's now.
As for fitment you simply cut ALL the old black rubber out of your original mounts and slide these in with a bit of fairy liquid.
Hi Darren, face looks to be diamond cut which will need re-welding and cutting back - not a cheap repair. Is the grey painted area marked also? factor this in (if it is) and then possibly not matching in colour :(
So:
(1) live with it
(2) buy a new wheel - would be my preferred option...
Awesome matey and i'm so happy you're happy with it :) and I couldn't think of better person to look after it.
I think I need to change my avatar now ;)
Wow 1 post in 4 years! Yes you do win a prize :)
As for the removing pops and bang (without the need of a garage) you could buy a second hand rs tuner OR a second hand ecu kit.
8 x 13mm nuts underneath, disconnect wiring plugs under the seats, lift seats out both cars out and swap and refit.
Best to disconnect the battery for 30 mins to depressurise the airbag system on the car with original seats in.
