To Decat Or Not... Clio 200

My biggest worry with a decat is increasing the flat spot that these cars suffer from. Can be mapped out but of course an added cost and inconvenience. As for noise I'm not sure tbh.

What do I need to fit these seats

Buy a set of decent second hand recaros or don't bother buddy. They look gash and when you start adding subframes, sliders etc you won't be far off the price of the recaros, the recaros will also be easy enough to shift on afterwards if required.

    1*2 Powerflex Exhaust Mount Bush

Yes they work very well - had them on 2 x 182's now. As for fitment you simply cut ALL the old black rubber out of your original mounts and slide these in with a bit of fairy liquid.

Alloy refurb help (Skoda vRS) - including pic

Hi Darren, face looks to be diamond cut which will need re-welding and cutting back - not a cheap repair. Is the grey painted area marked also? factor this in (if it is) and then possibly not matching in colour :( So: (1) live with it (2) buy a new wheel - would be my preferred option...

    French Boost Get Together

Looks like he has already done it judging by the trickle stream going under the rear of the paxo.

Wow 1 post in 4 years! Yes you do win a prize :) As for the removing pops and bang (without the need of a garage) you could buy a second hand rs tuner OR a second hand ecu kit.

    Swapping seats

8 x 13mm nuts underneath, disconnect wiring plugs under the seats, lift seats out both cars out and swap and refit. Best to disconnect the battery for 30 mins to depressurise the airbag system on the car with original seats in.
  26. mossyv6

Steering wheel swap = airbag light...

I know it sounds strange but worked on mine. Disconnect the plug and spray with brakes or carb cleaner DONT use wd40 as this doesn't dry properly.
  27. mossyv6

Steering wheel swap = airbag light...

I had exactly the same recently on 2 of my clios and for strange reason I cleaned the wiring connector under the passenger seat and sorted both.
