Oh and sorry but the spoiler needs changing but I think I have said that before
Epic car - good job it wasn't a little bit cheaper and closer to Sheffield otherwise you may not have been the new owner
That powerflex before photo is shocking!! How can they have managed to f@ck it up - they're dead simple to do.
Car is in safe hands at Birchdown - top bunch of lads.
So nice weather today meant I could get the spacers fitted. I have a large selection of sizes but went with 20mm front and 25mm rear - perfect stance with the springs.
Thanks Datren matey :) hope you're well. Got my turbo addiction sorted in the end ;) the Evo's I fancied were either far too expensive or looked like money pits.
Also fitted a pair of seat resistor to turn the airbag light of due to fitting the recaros (no pretensioners).
£8 (the pair) of eBay - job done and no airbag light.
Also worth noting that Recaro do sell these resistors but cost £45!!! And do exactly the same job.
Yello 200 had just had a brand new original renault manifold so a very worth while investment is to fit updated engine mounts to reduce engine movement and the manifold flexi's braking up - a very common and expensive issue with the mk 3.

Just waiting for the lower dog bone...
Yes it is, won't be to everyone taste but I thought it was ok.
Number 120 is a real cracking car mate - you did a great job saving it. T pulls like a monster still.
Hope number 147 goes ok for you and would be good if we could see you at Wales.
As for the little man It would be rather cool if...
Lol, honestly nothing major.
Thanks matey.
Good isn't it - the car I have been waiting for :)
Lol, yes you're right. I think this is the last purchase for a while now - but I'm sure I have said that before ;)
Ps - the Trophy is still going strong buddy, one last job is to get the rusty...
Well got the LY200 back from @RevLimitUK :)
The above work is all done and also replaced a drop link which I was dreading was a bearing but all now sorted :)
I can't recommend them enough - superb work, great price and even washed it for me :)
Thanks very much mate :)
Here's a quick snap:
Not sure yet buddy. Need to do my maths and work out the best economical package to offer such as Speedlines, Recaros or standards etc.
But one thing is for sure is the gearbox and cambelt was a must, I probably won't get the money back on but will sell the car easier.
Yes being sold on pal. A shame really as its such a nice clean car but can't keep them all. Got a couple of people interested but want it to be right for them hence getting the mechanics side of things also right for them.
It's such a hardcore colour. We have been looking at moving and car...
Also a few service parts bought for the LY 200.
Cambelt kit.
De-phaser.
Water pump.
Aux belt.
Spark plugs.
Air filter.
Oil and filter change.
Revised metal dipstick.
Also having a none crunching replacement gearbox fitted :) and my H & R lowering springs fitted.
All in the safe capable hands...
Thanks buddy an epic colour and of course the rarest 200 colour
Anyhow not really got around to doing much this week with it. Managed to dismantle the roll cage slightly to get the rear seats back in and Oliver's seat in - amazingly easy tbh
Also discovered the car is famous...
