    Steering wheel question

A lot are interchangeable but need a bit of modding such as the 197 spacing on a 182/172.

Cup wheels - centre cap question

I use to favour powder coating but after a few chipping and large flaking I now spray and bake all my wheels.

Cup wheels - centre cap question

Unfortunately not. You will have do to wet spray the wheels and caps to get a perfect match.

    Bonnet rust - why?

Both my Trophies had this rust spot on the drivers side lower corner. My current Trophy will be booked in for a brand new bonnet and respray very soon - this will finish the work to do list :)

    Mk3 smooth boot opinions?

But how do you actually stumble across 2 year old threads unless you search for them?

    Mossy's Cars

Thanks mate and just follow my bit of a guide here. Just make sure you get all the glue crap out BEFORE you put the new ones in otherwise they don't fit properly - the top and bottom of the seals are a very tight fit.

New to the club, Recently brought a 200rs Cup

After relooking at the attachment it appears the top of the tailgate has been cut open and the GT spoilers fixing clips trimmed down and then bonded on. Good effort :)

New to the club, Recently brought a 200rs Cup

@DS197. I think you do need a different tailgate - these spoilers need a tailgate with the cut out as per your attachment.

    Mossy's Cars

Oh and just finished the wheels - again, lol. Had the tyres fitted on Monday and the satin look paint was a little lost :( so cracked out the lacquer and brought the shine out. And yes I said I didn't want to spend all day cleaning them but they do look so much better :) Also gave the centre...

    Mossy's Cars

Thanks everyone. It was on eBay for a few weeks before Xmas (never try to sell a car just before Xmas) with a very poor advert with poor photos, no cambelt done, a crunchy gearbox (she didn't know this until I told her on the test drive!), arch spray required - it really had nothing going for it...

    Mossy's Cars

Thanks I did it on the Alien Green 200 I had and I think it finished the car. Wasn't sure about it on the yellow but I guess when it's all planted and running wider it will all come together.

    Mossy's Cars

Been doing a bit of spraying again, lol. To swap the caps over you have to pop the mirrors out. Release the plug. Unscrew centre screw and 3 surrounding screws. Release the plug. And take the centre out. You can now see the 3 clips that hold the cap on, use a flat screwdriver to simply unclip...

    Mossy's Cars

Thanks mate and yes taking the door trims/seals makes it so much neater and professional. I saw a red 200 at the weekend and they had basically stuck some replacement straight over the originals and looked absolutely shocking!!

    Mossy's Cars

As above mate, they are made from cheese and look terrible when perished :(
