HiBeen following your thread for a while now and know what your going though lol. I've got a pretty much a similar spec as yours. I had mine done last year and it took from April to the end of September, again like you..parts issues!!! Once you do get it back all will be forgotten and the smile...
Just fitted an omp boss to my ph1 and it all fitted though the hole fine. When I was looking for a boss there are 2 types for Clio...172 and 182. My air bag connector is orange and only just fitted though.
Just watch the rubbing on the tyres, pretty dangerous IMO. Getting the arches rolled might help. Other than that...I like it...oh....like Luke said...put the centre caps back on!!

Ive got a ph1 172 and want to convert my window switches to the black ph2 switches. I have the ph2 switches with some loom and the connectors and want to cut my ph1 loom and connect.

Cup race cars have hub extender pins to bring the roll centres back. There are quite a few theads on it and I think I remember someone said they where testing a retro fit pin for standard cars.
I think there's a permanent live there as its like a live and a switch line and when pushing the fag lighter down you close the circuit. I may be wrong tho.
I've got the k-tec silenced de-cat with k-tec stealth with middle silencer. I found it freed up the revs, no noticeable power increase but as you say there quoting 6-7 bhp. Don't know the difference between a normal de-cat to the silenced one. I just went silenced as I didn't want a really loud...
