Interesting, maybe just the wheel/height combo then, Mine looked silly with that much camber on the front & very little on the back plus the handling wasnt all that so re-adjuted it, have heard rumor its better run the Fk's soft as possible on the Fronts & one complete turn from soft - hard on...
Looks like a good buy considering its probarbly one of the most unique colours & had all the belts done.. mmm imagine the strips coded yellow on gloss black wheels :o....

Why have you chosen to track a disel? surely on a track a nice rev happy motor like in the clio sports is better?
djroberts, You cant be using Fk's then? camber on the Fk's is mental, makes it look like you've had a high speed impact with the kirb plus i found it was far too much camber for fast road, i'm running sligtly more than standard & the car drives spot on, Ben those bits of plastic burn/fall off ;)...

So work has began, first up was to paint the upper inlet manifold & masked it all up like so
So 20 minutes later i peeled...
Just take your time YOU "CAN" RECK YOUR ECU for those that say other wise are talking b****cks, If you up-load an rst file that begins with 7xxx xxx to a 6xxx xxxx current software its bye bye Ecu & off to fastchip to be re-flashed & recoded back to your car, talking 5-14 days turn around.. so...
Ben, I have the Fk's too, You can run full camber & its doesnt rub untill your corneing at speed, had no probs at all round town but when i get to 100+ jellybabys an hour it was just catching the top inside of the lining plus it looked like the wheels were fooked with that amount of camber lol...
No worrys mate, its dry as a bone round here if you wanna drop in today & check it out, affraid i'll be working next weekend so viewings will be limited
Gave the track car some love as its now going into storage till i find a buyer, looked so dam good, will be sad to see her go.. any way, roll on pics!

Would you run your engine if the dipstick read below minium for a couple of days? dont think so! i would avoid driving it around untill you get some more in there mate
Its not that it needs excatly 3.1, your ment to fill with new oil till it can take no more, ie flows back out the filling hole
Gearbox was supposedly fooked acording to the add.. new engine mounts, job done :approve:.. plus the fact it was a chav mobile when i picked it up, wierdest thing was it was a woman owner who did the mods

Crap Type R driver in that case... when my 172 was standard it would only just stay par with my mates standard type R till 3rd then off he went... few mods later adding 20+bhp over a standard 172 i can happily keep with him through the end of 4th gear
