Not as bad as I thought it would be TBH, thanks lads.
Now someone hurry up n post a 172/182 with them on ;)
And Siddle, crashy ride is a no-no as I broke my back last year! Probs should just get air ride really!
Dont shoot me down...
But I've tried searching, commented in previous Cooksport spring related threads and waited for someone to just put a thread of pictures up... but no luck!
So as above, has anyone got links to pictures of Cooksport springs sitting on 15's? Or can someone hurry up and put...
Well I bought my Cup in August 2011 and started a project diary then, but didn't keep up with it and it wasn't that good anyway.
Instead of trying to catch up and start again, I thought I'd start a project diary from now, and document any changes with the Clio this year. I plan to do a number...
Got the email Gally, thanks for that. I'm gona send him over one now and find out a few things on the range.
I'm just a bit confused between the difference in Cquartz Dlux and the PERL? Is the Dlux more like C4 in that it creates a new layer on top of the plastics/rubbers etc and the PERL more...
Ok I've just purchased some Carpro Eraser to use prior to sealing so I assume this will be just as good as IPA?
As far as the plastics go I was thinking of Gtechniq C4 with everyone's recent successes in that department.
The list is something like this at the moment:
- Body/Paint - Cquartz UK...
This.
And when they start to die off after 3 or 4 months, pour some warm water on the blocks from the kettle, drain the excess and they smell like new again!
Looks good mate, glad you're back on your feet now, I know what its like!
Just a heads up though, someone else painted their calipers with yellow Hammerite, and after some heavy braking the paint actually burnt/melted and bubbled off! You're better off getting some proper caliper paint
Jon
Gally, I was unaware they were different types! I thought that HB was also a ceramic sealant, i.e with the scratch resistance it claims.
I feel I may be heading towards the Cquartz with claims like that. Can it be used on plastics as well or is it formulated for just paint? Was thinking of...
I'm trying to decide between 2 nano sealants after I correct the paint on my RB next year, as tbh I can't be bothered to top up waxes etc and quite like the idea of 1 year plus of protection
The 2 I've narrowed it down to are:
Cquartz UK Edition with Reload for top ups once a month
or
Wolfs...
If you can find an Alpine you like I'd personally go for that
I have that Kenwood you linked, although it is the non bluetooth model, and find it feels a bit ''cheap'' tbh
I had an Alpine headunit before and even though it was one of their bottom/middle of the range ones, I felt it had a lot...
I had a look into the Magnecor's and after a bit of investigation it appears that all the problems relate to the 8mm blue leads, not the 8.5mm leads. Can you confirm which he had? Jon
Too save me crawling under the gf's car...
If I was too powerflex the dogbone mount on a 2001 Clio 1.4, would it be the twisted type or the inline type I'd need? I'm assuming the latter but thought I'd check :)
Jon
Might be a silly question, but did you try it in the bulb holder both ways?
They have to go in the right way as the bulbs have a positive and negative end!
