Regarding the Prodrive Scooby... Surprised the insurance differences between that and the Evo! Must admit I'm an Evo man myself. Hopefully will be the upgrade from the 182 in the future :)
N surgery ain't that bad mate! In fact it's kinda enjoyable when you go under in a weird way! Had 6 ops in...
Plans sound good. But if I was getting an exhaust it would have to be the BTM system. Looks brilliant from the photos, supposed to sound good and the build quality is second to none. Some good performance gains also apparently... Jon
I think 182's dont have bonnet sensors anyway... Could be wrong but I'm sure Fred mentioned in a thread not too long ago. Mine doesnt have the sensor, the plug just sits idle under the slam panel. Doesnt affect locking or anything. Jon
Put his kit in 6 months or so ago. Tightens up the slack very well. Tight at first but soon loosens off to a good 'stiffness' :)
Other thing to do is dogbone mount apparently if the gearstick is a bit sloppy, although I havent fitted one yet
Im going to respond to your question with a question ... Where do you get parts diagrams like that from? Sorry for going slightly off topic :o
And we just did a Megane cam change at work. Just used gasket maker as there was no gasket when we removed it ....All fine.
Some bits turned up today :)
Bits from M.A.D on here, battery cover and top mount covers anodised black. And a lambda extender for when I fit new lambda's during the service
I won't say what's in the other packages cos it will ruin the surprise ;)
Might have to scope him out, would be good to learn a few things :)
UPDATE:
Instead of going down the induction kit route, which I may well do in the future, I decided to keep the stock airbox for now.
I knew it had a KTR foam panel filter already in it, but when I took it out to clean it I...

Hi Andy
Thanks a lot for taking the time to write a reply to all my questions. I've shared it with the Cliosport forum so hopefully that's a few more people who have learnt about nano sealants now!
Starting from the top of your reply, you mentioned that hard water areas can cause...
Thanks Tim, it's not looking the best at the moment though, can't wait to detail it. Sooo dirty.
And tbh I'm not convinced its even got a remap. And if it does, I don't rate it much...
It still idles at about 800, has a 7200 rpm limit and the 5K kick seems pretty noticeable. But tbh mine is the...
Thanks guys, yes the beading does look good! Will hopefully do my Cup alloys in a couple of months, make them much easier to clean!
And that was the plan msa197! But unfortunately being on a weekday I couldn't get the time off work :( where as Bedford is on a Saturday
Might have been said but I'm not reading through it all
At £23ishK you can get a 'Burg Corsa, with Bilsteins, diff, Recaros and exclusivity. I know it's a Vauxhall. But likes been said at least it looks like a hot hatch with decent bits!
I felt really bad reeling off a load of questions! He probably will just ignore the next one haha
And when it comes to it I might well try CQUK on one tip and C5 on the other, could be interesting to see comparisons!
UPDATE:
Will post this in here, event though it's more detailing orientated I guess :)
In light of the upcoming track day, I decided it would be best to protect my recently purchased Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's :p
For this I chose the Gtechniq C4, as I'd been swayed by all the hype on here...
Quick follow up from the email I sent. Andy just replied back this evening and his answers are very helpful and informative for someone who doesn’t know a lot about nano sealants!
He also explains it in a very easy to understand way, top!
Below is the email I sent Andy yesterday night:
Hello...
I managed to see the photos before they disappeared.
If you want I can draw something like what it looked like? I'm going to do the same but won't be getting a Sabelt for a few months
