I think 182's dont have bonnet sensors anyway... Could be wrong but I'm sure Fred mentioned in a thread not too long ago. Mine doesnt have the sensor, the plug just sits idle under the slam panel. Doesnt affect locking or anything. Jon

Put his kit in 6 months or so ago. Tightens up the slack very well. Tight at first but soon loosens off to a good 'stiffness' :) Other thing to do is dogbone mount apparently if the gearstick is a bit sloppy, although I havent fitted one yet
