    First & current hot hatch

First warm hatch was my MG ZR 120 back in 2003 followed by a black MG ZS 180 - the chassis on that car was sublime Not my car above but exactly the same. Then came my 106 GTI which i loved.....until I wrote it off Next came my Zetec S which had a cracking gearbox and chassis balance - just...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Lovely work Sir. Great modifications so far and the engine bay looks great - exactly how i want mine to look. Currently sitting in my mates garage until it reopens after having cambelt, new boost pipes and general engine tidy up. Can’t wait to drive it and seeing a car as good as this makes...

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Speed Academy currently restoring an EVO 6 which is a great watch alongside Gears & Gasoline who do some great road trips but are also tuning an EVO 9 (i believe) and K Swapping a Civic. Both in depth and really insightful. Better than the usual LLF, Sideways Sid comedy IMO

    172 Cup Turbo Conversion

Where are you based mate? Your more than welcome to come and have a go in mine. Mine been turbo’d for around 4 years and it is epic. I agree with some of the points made - if your putting a lot more power but more importantly torque through the car other components will need upgrading to cope...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Just read through your current progress. Love the bits your adding. Seats and steering wheel look ace - love a Proto tipo (Singer et al) Keep up the good work - getting to be a very nice car. I wouldn’t discount the low boost turbo btw. I think it transforms what is an already great car...

[Aussie Content] Victorian Alps Road Trip

Looks like a great road trip with some amazing scenery. Great to see an RB clio - my favourite colour by far.

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

    That looks superb mate (y)

    Ultra Clean GTi

Love that. Had exactly the same car and colour and like @Sir_Dave it got wrote off in the early 2000’s. Great car, nimble handling, food packaging interior but my 172 cup was in a different league when i swapped it in 2006. Do miss it tho and you never see any around anymore.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

I’ll just leave this here. Your welcome 🙂. This guy had loads of amazing content - lots of it has English subtitles. The 147 GTA video is my favourite along with this one. Merry Christmas

    Clio 1*2 Turbo in Birmingham?

I would love too.....but it’s sorned and off the road unfortunately. Needs the cam belt doing which i will have done in the New Year. When it is back of course you can mate. Where you based? It is awesome by the way - once you experience it you won’t look back :)

    Supercharging a 182

No it was done by a man by the name of Andy Greer. He is well renowned on this forum for being the worlds worst businessman.....but luckily mine was one of his first conversions before he morphed into Captain bodge. I haven’t driven either but i would assume they would be a riot. The biggest...

    Driftworks E30 M3 S65 build

Yes mate. Love watching the DW stuff. His Lambo build which he is currently doing is amazing. Plus they are local so flying the brummie flag lol 😂

    Supercharging a 182

Having had my car for years with a low boost setup i would recommend it all day long. Puts the car in another league performance wise. Been pretty reliable but never as a daily driver. Mine has 235bhp and 227lbs ft and that is about as much as I would put through the car without ruining it...

182... what upgrades would you fit to your perfect spec road car?

For me the biggest “must change” bits are: New steering wheel 15” wheels as it drives so much better (IMHO) Coilovers - my BC’s on soft are a lot more composed and better riding than my cup dampers with cooksports Buckets seats. Recaro PP or Corbeau CS as they are still comfy over long...

    K-tec Mk4 RS development car

Agreed - look far too big and don’t really suit the car. Bodykit is quality tho

    Clio 172 cup

Very nice purchase mate. Looks great. I remember a long time ago when mine was standard :) Enjoy it and it’s encouraging to see another Cup on the forum(y)

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

Spunked a fair few dollars on this but i have to say it looks truly epic. I personally don’t think there is a fag paper to split the E46 and E90 in terms of desirability and love the modifications you have done to both cars. (y)

    My cup

Gotta love a bit of rake!! :) If you are in two minds about the clubsport seats i wouldn’t worry. They are really comfortable, even on a long journey and the improvement in driving position was one of the best mods i have done....and i have done a few lol. Your car looks epic mate, i do look...

    Mart.'s 172 Cup

its It’s an Aplina D3 mate. Normally no spec whatsoever as you had to pay a £1,500 surcharge before adding any options. Luckily it has Pro Nav and leather seats which is good enough for me :)

    Mart.'s 172 Cup

Really nice Cup. Like the OEM feel. Good choice of upgrades. I had Cooksport springs on mine and it provided a suitably nice drop. Seats look epic. Well done on the E91 Touring purchase too, i love mine (y)

    Z4 3.0

I suppose i am a bit biased as they’re on my car ;)

    Z4 3.0

I personally think they look epic on these wheels too. Between these and the CSL’s you can’t go wrong IMHO

    311hp clio 172 cup review

Couldn’t agree more. Ricky has toned down his “know what i mean cuz” act and his videos are now tolerable. He also has some seriously tasty metal on there. Evo 6 was my personal highlight.

    Z4 3.0

Nice purchase mate. I owned a Z4 Coupe 3.0 sport in exactly the same colour combination. Engine was silky smooth and sounded great (you can remove some foam from the pipe that synthesises the sound into the cabin which makes it sound really good). Had it on anthracite CSL wheels, H & R springs...

The Holy Grail - Ferrari F40

To me the greatest Supercar ever. My bedroom wall poster car when i was a kid and the still to this day the first car on my lottery win list. Simply epic. The Chris Harris video of him driving the F40 and F50 back to back is on weekly play in my house ?

    Fletch's BMW M2.

I absolutely love that. Always thought the M2 look ”overwheeled” with the 19’s on. Proportions against the wheelarches just didn’t look at good as the 1M. Those wheels with that drop make it look epic. Brilliant choice sir. Well done ?
