Ha ha. No..to be fair she is very tolerant of me driving like a c**k. I know when she is crapping herself as she looks out of the side window and not straight ahead. It was so fast and composed today. What is quite a jiggly low speed ride morphs into a fluid missile that covers...
White for me. Gives it a kick against the anthracite. I’d probably remove the grey RS logo on the sills though so there isn’t a contrast. Gotta love 2118s
Just about to go out for Sunday lunch. Weather is lovely soon thought i’d Scare the other half to death...go out for a leisurely drive....to the pub. Love how the paint glistens in the sun.
Just read this thread. I love that colour. The RS2 will be a great addition too mate. I would love to see a Petrol blue dropped on 2118’s. Think it is my favourite colour after Racing Blue. Very clean example, a credit to you mate.
I had an KTR induction kit in exactly that blue and I used to accelerate like a t**t everywhere as I just loved the angry bark it used to make with that kit on. Miss that noise.
Don’t normally go to CSF to be honest as I don’t do camping. May come for the day this year though. Brilliant i’ll do that as it does misfire occasionally on full throttle and can only be injectors now.
Why thank you sir. Yours is equally nice. Would be interesting to compare turbo power at some point. Love our project thread. Could also do with my injectors cleaning if you fancy it?
Yes definitely mate. If you all live in Essex i’d say Northampton/Milton Keynes is about half way between. I’m sure we could meet at a pub for lunch and photos and drives in each other’s cars etc.
Perfect car in the second best colour (I would also have red).
Absolutely love these. Sat in one at the Festival of Speed a few years ago and fell in love.
So I took the spacers off and tried the others but they looked absolute w**k so put the others back on. Decided to give it a clean and took some more photos:
Tucked back up in bed now until the roads get better.
Yes bud. It makes 235bhp and 227lbs ft and to be fair it is rapid as it is. Just be funny to have a switch that gave it another 40bhp if the mood took me. Probably asking for trouble though and I want to keep it reliable and considering it was a Mr Greer creation is hasn’t done too bad.
Thanks mate. Just some Wilwood 4 pots and a Quaife Diff now mate. Then it’s done and I can just enjoy driving it. I toyed with putting a stronger head gasket in and having a bit more boost to put it up to 270 ish bhp but to be honest it is fast enough for the chassis as it is now.
I would...
On day off today so thought i’d get her out the garage and take a few pics. I’m going to try my PMS 5mm spacers today to see the difference as the current 25mm ones are rubbing a little on lock. Does anyone know the smallest bolt to hub spacers you can get so i can keep my polarised bolts. I...
Yeah i’ve had them for ages and debated whether I should put them on or not. They look pretty good to be honest. Contrast nicely with the polarised bolts. I’ll put up a photo later in the week.
They’re shadow chrome with more silver added. They look silver in most lights mate. I’ve also added the speedline corse stickers in blue to them recently
Just a quick petrol station photo just before I got tannoyed to put my phone away :openmouth:
Car feels epic on the road. So planted with the ride as compliant as before. May need to drop the front spacers as they are rubbing a tad. Just need to see if TPI do longer polarised bolts. The 5mm...
