I managed to repair a sanpped cambelt on my old 1.2 8v for under £100
Got the head skimmed for £40
Valves from GSF £5 each - did them all
Valve Grinding paste kit £3.50
Gasket Kit £30 - ebay ;)
Then labour was all my self!
Still runs sweet as 10k+ late :approve:

Thats what i thought.... seems its not the case, mum spoke to the manager & he said the same - t***s:mad:, so what should she say to them? Insurance companys take the piss :dapprove:
Well my younger brother passed his driving test today, So gongrats to him :cool:
But bad news follows.. Basically he went out practicing with our mum on his provisonal licence for a few months so they started a new policy as my mum has two cars & doesnt use the other untill a few months ago...

If it was me i would keep it silver, looks tidy/grown up.. where as the green looks funky & diffrent but to 99% people on the roads the'll think your colour blind lol

Have heard good things about the K-tec Uprated one, Its ment to feel alot firmer adding a solid feeling to the car in return for a little idle vibration, not tried one my self but is on my wish list for a group buy if it ever occurs

Not always the case but from what i've seen at rolling road days, clio's with less than 30k on them seem to be under powered in comparison, mine feels even better with another 11k on it since i bought it
The TRUE reading is record at the wheels then depending if your car is FWD, RWD, 4WD they work out "roughly" how much trasmission loss.. belive FWD is around 18% not sure though
