Wow that is cheap, if it meets all the specifications on the side of the bottle then i wouldnt see why not, i use the stuff from halfords my self, 5w40 fully syn - meets the requiments of BMW, Merc, VW.. sure as hell will be enough for the clio lol
I've pulled apart/play'd with turning a PH2 & PH1 into track cars.. would recomend a PH1 as its pretty sad sight ripping apart a fairly newish car where as "most" PH1's ( now haters hold back lol ) look shot on the inside from 9+years worth of ware & tear
Oh & comment about the apex's, mate...
Interesting read, fair enough on older cars but if i made 184+bhp its fair to say its running spot on, the dyno power curve showed it runs well too.. but for under £20 could be worth a try if you were having running problems
Both my 172's are always run on V-power, for an extra 7p a little i hope i should be able to see my reflection in the injectors lol, i wouldnt belive all the hipe about re-dex
7k gear changes FTW, the rasp from the de-cat makes it worth it alone, serious note though, 1st & 2nd gear 7k all above 6,5k, mark cups right, its painfull slow in 4th close to the red line
Special custom job, Pm Tonyt on here as he still does them ;)

Power steering removal is to come, technically it will now being staying but powered by a Saxo's power steering pump, waiting for burpspeed tuning up-dates before getting heavy into that area though, dont...
Like your self, i started getting into this part time in the summer evenings to help keep my self going as i'm still an apprentice & to be honest its not as nice/fun as you think.. yea the first 10+ cars great but but after that its as boring as fook... dont get me wrong paint...
When you re-map with the Rs tunner it clearly marks RS tunner in the log, so yes if they plug in they could possibly see it.. but erm.... who's to say the previous owner did it? & how were you to know? but then again it does store the date next to the log :p
Re: PH1 172 Track Car, abit special *ITB update*
Okay good stuff :rasp:, fair enough mate, just always thought you would get more from ITB's, think i'll see what my revolution design for the airbox puts out, if i can get 185-190 out of mine while still running the standard 4-1 manifold i'll...
