Did mine the other day while I was removing the pipes for the EPAS conversion . I would say it's not that hard , but deff fiddly . The heat shield under the manifold is a b*tch to get all loose to gain access.
A little advise : I only took out one long 16mm headed bolt (the bottom ones) and the...
Are all your pulleys clean and snag free on where it meets the belt ?
Also before you stripped it , did you run it without the six belt on ? Just to rule that load on the crank pulley out
40k , seriously . I wouldn't accept 40s of that noise . If all pulleys are replaced at time of belt change , then those can be ruled out as being nosey . If expect that noise to be arriving after 40k and it being a pulley at fault .
It is deff a tensioning issue . Are you using a genuine...
No it wouldn't have any affect on that noise because that is deff a to tight a belt .
Follow this procedure if it helps , make sure the tensioner is rotated the correct way .
Had the rack pipes out last night , and have cut the smaller pipes to just keep the unions .
Have filled them with tiger sealer and Bung / capped off for good measure .
Now with regards to the 2 larger holes from the high and low pressure pipes , I can confirm the sump plug does go in to...
I'd be swapping the switches out of another car first .
Could poss be a short in the switch , when the lights are on its powering the power circuit within the switch and
switches are cheaper than a UCH. Lol
Took delivery of mine today , and had a little touch with these rubber things off a fuel filter at work. Cut down they will go on the end nut , don't want any sparks now
Don't want to sound off , I would never ever run bolt to hub spacers . I run the stud thru the spacer type on my Ph1 and never had an issue . Also I wouldn't want to keep pulling the wheels off to check the 4 bolts for them . It'll piss me off no end .
Is yours a Ph2 ? , if so the warning lamp may still be on over the multi plex , so I'd say the UCH needs to be told you don't have an airbag at all.
That will only work is the airbag warning lamp function correctly , in which case his is staying on , so if you connected to that circuit your...
Sorry I'm confused with your reply .
No resistors any more all gone .
Every single wire for the airbag gone .
Absolutely nothing left , oh except the bulb in the cluster which has no wire to it now lol
