Re-wired the seat belt pre-tens.. Added the 3.3 ohm resistors & guess what.. the air bag lights are still on :dapprove: ... mot round the corner & they are annoying being on :( ... have i put the resistors in the right slots Done this to the passenger side too, will i need to OBD resset...

Good idea! would it not fit behind the grill though? Surely that cold air feed is the main problem, look at that nasty bend just after it leaves the airbox :dead: .. Surely coulnt you tilt the 90 degree induction bend down so that the cold air feed runs smoothly down to the new cold air feed...

Mine does exactly the same thing, flat spot at around 3,000rpm from cold, totally gone in under 3/5 miles :) , to be honest it doesnt bother me at all as from years ago i have had racing 2 stroke motorbikes & seen the damge riding them hard from cold does so i feather foot until temp is up then...

Rs tunner Group N map was the first real engine upgrade my 172 had :cool: I may well be going polished roll cage & harness, not sure on what sort of harness to go for, its all new to me lol Polished ali cages look sex though :cool:

:rasp: LOL Mine is obviusly not as comfy as it was in standard form but i still do 50/60 miles a day in it no probs, think the blessin was the Fk koni ADJUSTABLE damping coilovers, can be soft for road use & rock hard for track, pop the bonnet/boot & adjust them from the top of the struts...

Economy on mine is sweet, when not ragging it :o Usally see 45-49mpg when doing 60mph on the motorway, at half 6 in the morning i have no intrest in going quick & for some reason at under 3k you can not hear the powerflow & de-cat at all!... untill you put your foot down then sounds like...

You wont need to take the belt off, i didnt, just remove the fabric cover next to it! If you dont put the Aux belt back on right or it comes loose theres a good chance it will take the cambelt out = Not cheap fix, just get a shallow socket & walla, away you go :) This is always the case when...
