A few tasteful mods can be done to a 1.2 though, just not induction kits and manifold and remaps etc. Otherwise it'll get pretty boring quickly.

I know the 197s two are the same, know squat about 172s though :( Are you sure its the sensor? usually with a dodgey lambda sensor you'd notice it driving a little off/roughly? Have you plugged an OBD in to confirm?

Does it have a black bonnet? its hard to tell from photo.

Adriun Flux are rubbish IMO! I use Admiral, they were by far cheaper than anyone else. But at the end of the day your going to be paying out your arse wherever you go so just accept that.

I know of some people who take out their panel filters for drag runs donw at Santa Pod. personally cant see it making a huge difference.

Your slightly confused with the acoustic valve and aux air inlet. Its still protected from engine bay temps by the battery and other items, that area of the engine bay isnt that hot anyway. And from personal experience from another site anybody who has tried tampering with that inlet has...

My backs stripped, lowered and has braided lines + Carbon Lorraines and i dont really get any more twitching under heavy braking than i did before the mods. The ESP will keep everything in check and a straight line anyway mate.
