    This is a how I did it without any spring compressors or clamps . As an experienced mechanic I'll tell you now - it's not recommended to do it this way unless your absolutely confident within your mechanical capabilities . I won't bore you with the jack the car up and place it on axle stands...

    What have you done to your car today ???

    Feeling very pleased with myself - I've managed to change the suspension top mounts and bearings without using a spring compressor or taking the strut off the car. Clio 1.2 16v How I did it - I don't know - only kidding , I'll put a post up about it soon , I took lots of pics so you can all see.

    Glad you got it sorted Happy days. Yes with reference to the Term UCBIC , that's the internal fuse and relay unit inside the vehicle , the UCBIM is the one in the engine bay , I guess not used often -but I am an old git lol.

    Doesn't the UCH / BIC control the windows ? I'd start by checking the window controls to that and also the wires from motor to BIC .

    Check them visually - your looking for broken , dirty , cracked / chipped teeth. Try the good ole wire brush clean up and try .

    Ecu bracket help?

    I thought just place ecu in place , tighten up 10mm nuts holding the ecu , once that's done just push the top interlock bit downwards and that should be it.
