I put up a bench in work, made from excess mdf and pine(?) 2x3.
I fastened it to the wall and floor so it's going nowhere. I'd happily do heavy duty work on it. It'll be cheaper than an off the shelf job and you can build it to suit your garage/needs.
Not really, it's just another air filter and on a n/a car it's really just for noise.
On heavily fettled cars they can be an improvement but not so much on standard cars.
The noise is good though!
Leave the wheels silver! Or get speedlines. Don't go black.
If it helps, Matt said the akra transformed the car. It might've helped as the previous exhaust was a length of pipe instead of a back box lol. The induction kit sounded pretty ace too.
The kangarooing isn't you, it's mk3 clios in...
Can't advise anyone to use but get some 2k touch up paint?
You can either mix it and paint it on or get it in an aerosol that shouldn't react with the existing paint. I've topped 2k paint with 2k paint before both from a gun and can
I can't remember the rating And I cba to look but I've got one of those! Best £50 ever
Actually, my favourite tool cost about 50p
Invaluable for messing about with the car. Dropped bolts? No problem
Might get one of these as a breaker bar.
Half inch drive ratchet with a hammer on the end. And we're so you know it's going to be good.
I just can't justify £80+ on a hammer/ratchet lol
While we're on the subject, what is the difference between the impact gun Dave is after with the 1/2" drive built in, and something like this
Does the above have hex adapters or something? I take it they're not as powerful/don't transfer the same torque as a proper 1/2" driver?
How old are you?
I do a similar commute and I hate it. The clio is great as an occasional commuter and weekend toy. But I'm properly tired of it as a daily.
I'm 26 and I've had it coming up to five years.
Since I've noticed a lot of people like to chat about tools, get advice on purchasing and tips on tricks and usage, I thought it'd be a good idea to have a dedicated sub forum.
Enjoy
Use one to do them up, but not to undo them
Like James said it'll knacker the spring. Which is why you should unload them/set them to zero when you're done too
Ah that's good. They did release the type r very late into that model.
I must concur. The kids who want it won't be able to afford it and the people who can afford it will be too old for 'hardcore' fwd hatchbacks.
I feel scene for just saying hardcore. I don't like it
I'm not sure whether I prefer it to the outgoing one because it looks better or whether it's because Honda teased us with an epic concept and produced that s**t Danny posted
If you were closer I'd take you. And maybe wine and dine you at the end. Who knows. The food is pretty good there.
Costco do compressors too lol. £150 for a decent looking one* decent looking power. Can't remember the actual rating mind
Shh. Don't encourage him!
Just as a rule of thumb, shut up Dave.
But good idea, I'll converse with the oranges.
If you have a Costco card, or know someone with a Costco card. Their Kirkland signature socket set is a cracking starting place. Don't get one offline because people add £20/30 onto the price. They're only...
