hey all, trying to track down a new clutch cable for my mk2 ph1 clio 1.2, i've been to camberley auto factors & euro car parts & both hav supplied the wrong clutch cable so i've opted to go to the ren dealer for one, the question i hav is in the haynes manual for my car it mentions theres 2...

I was told it was a straight swap, although i could b wrong..

never really had a gd look at these before.. but ermmm.. they look pretty much like angle grinders:S .. is a decent pc expensive to buy? my parents hav got a BLACK lexus rx300 thats had a super service wash at lexus.. just shows 1bucket + big dirty car = swirls:(

take it i'm gonna loose the car for while then.. how long & how much did it set u bk to get the key re-programed?

Hi all, my clio has decided to giv up on the remote central locking, its a mk2 ph1 1.2 RT, went out in it yesterday morning & all was fine.. went out last night & the thing wouldn't open from the remote, the red light flashes on the key so i "assume" thats not the prob although since it didnt...

looks like an online purchase it is.... can any of u guys recomend a site which has the goodies u suggest

take it i cant get any of the above in halfords though right? really looking for summit i could pick up in store.. so u wouldn't say the megs wet look stuff is any gd?

well used to b a big fan of AG but i'm finding the more n more i try other stuff on the market i can do alot better for my money, i'm not saying ag is a bad product, far from it, just think most of there stuff is overrated, any 1 else think this or am i just doing summit wrong lol... recently...

just checked out that auto paint site, looks pretty gd, any 1 know the colour code for my silver mk2 ph1 clio, think sum 1 said it was chorel grey or summit like that Thanks, James

put it on a diet, stripped it out n bucket seats - u can remove mods like this when u come to sell it & won't affect the reliability on the engine, only flaw is if u usally have more than 2 ppl in ur car u may strugle to cope lol

I cant c why some one would pay for parts that make ur car look shite... another 1 of lifes wonders lol

wow, surely after the first few months you would have seen swirls.. let alone years lol.. one of my friends reckons its great paying £4 to get her new car "hand" washed at a local petrol station.. i'll be a sholder to cry on when the sun hits the paint lol

how much does the megs kit cost from halfords? might consider claying over tar remover & see how that goes, are there any good web sites with detailed steps + pics of claying

Thanks guys, might pick some up today as i'm on holiday in a week so i can spray it & giv it a week to cure b4 going back on the motor, i've done spraying with rattle cans b4 & been impressed with the results on parts i've done on my motorbikes so hopefully it will giv the car a real clean look...

myne lowered on 35mm gmaxx springs with the super standard shocks lol

pads might be glazed? might just need some copper grease on the BACK of the pads

yea i know, just explanning what colour i've got as it appears theres a few diffrent silvers for the clio in the halfords paint code book :S .. just wanted to know what my one is b4 i buy loads of tins of the wrong silver... now that would look outta place, the monkey at halfords say'd he wasn't...

all depends on tyre/wheel make.. i keep myne around 32PSI all round

I'm thinking of painting my bump strips in the summer, i'm pretty sure my clio's the same colour as in the pic above, when the cars wet & in diffrent shades of light it looks like it has a hint of blue.. any one know what colour halfords have got it down as?

prob coz him & his family drive around in a metro lol.. atleast u were in it.. just imagine what he could of done to it if it was parked up, some bell ends keyed my car :(

V6's will b nothing more than a dream car for me :(... that looks mint m8 ;) ... only thing i could could say thats better about my clio than urs is my fuel bill lol

Thought they were ph2 though coz it was a 2003 clio they came off :rolleyes:... yea i would have gone much lower for the looks but i still wanted a nice smooth ride as staines has not got the best of roads lol so 35mm got rid of the 4*4 gap between the tyres n arches :cool: hopefully picking...
