^ ^ sounds good.. but thats gonna mean i've got no airbag, is there any chance it can be setup so it works with the new seat? I'm assumeing it could but i dont wanna set the thing off & destroy my lovely new seats:( James

Hi all, i installed some new 172 cups seats on my mk2 ph1 1.2 rt & the plugs for the air bag & seat sensor are diffrent, i did the install a couple of weeks ago.. looking at it i seem to have the same number of cable's & colours so i would just cut & crimp but i dont want to blow the air bag off...

Hi all, done some bumper colour coding the past week & was "fairly" pleased with halfords match but its not totally spot on, thankfully i kicked up some fuss & had half the money refunded so only cost about £35/40 to do all the bump strips so happy days :cool: , but now i plan on doing another...

Called up reno dealer today to see how much a new splitter for my mk2 ph1 would set me back, i thought around £20-25.... they say around the £70 mark :eek:, are they seriously that much for a bit of rubber? also are there any other smart looking splitters on the market for my lil motor?

Plan to spray my rear bumper next week, but i'm still gonna need to drive the car to work so is am i still gonna be legal? only thing i can see being a problem is the nuber plate light but i'll be home before dark so should be okay right? James

intresting.. i thought it looked like a tidy bit of kit that should go fairly nicely with my samsung lcd, what would you recomend? im limited by space so cant do the whole 5:1 only able to do 2:1 setup :dapprove:

Rich how did you apply the endurance? i saw loads of ppl down at the pvs car show using small paint brushes + leaving it to dry for 24hours, thats the method i've used & still think the stuffs gonna stay in the car beauty products tub doing nothing more than making my collection of stuff look...

I like the cup seat as there plain & simple + alot cheaper :cool: , dont think the half leather jobbys would suit my super stock interior lol,

wouldn't recomend the megs endurance for anything more than shows also, looked gr8 when i applied it but one trip down the m4 & it was all over the side of the car & the shine didn't last more than 2 days, so much for "endurance", i'd recomend the AG tyre dressing, very happy with the stuff

Hi all, just wondering how much works involved in changing the basic lights on a mk2 ph1 clio to the sport dual optic lights? i'm considering buying some but dont fancy getting in over my head if its more hassle than its worth? Thanks, James

^ very true ^ "if" it was a gd m8;) , but since he has no intrest in learning as he said he could drop it round myne & leave me to it, plus i know him threw a friend of a friend so dont fancy spending my 1 day off a week for nothing
