Just been on the yozza website, saw a pair of original filters for £8, thought that was a right steel deal.. until i added postage in the cart, £18 total, are they havin a laugh :dapprove:
Just been down camberely auto factors & picked up an oil filter for my 172, looks identical to the eye & was the one on the sytem so hopefully will be a straight swap.. but before i do the oil change just thought i would ask, is it normally okay to use after market oil filters or would you guys...
Thing is though mate for £140 you can also do performance checks on the car, find out whats wrong if some thing doesn't feel right & you'll have £150+left over compared to the k-tec map, but i under stand what you mean, things could go wrong then £300 could seem very cheap compared to a new engine
May go group n then  , is there a guide line for the 98ron & group n for what mods your running? de-cat is on the list of too do's this month, also this 10 journeys to let the ecu learn, will there be no improvement untill say 8-10 th journey?
Well last weekend i used the g220 for the first time, well impressed & so easy to use :D , so first to be done was a play with the spoiler that i painted on my old 1.2 about 8 months ago, came up great & made it so smooth & slick, i assume over spray was the cause of the loss of gloss, never...
Oredered mine thursday last week, hopefully be here tomorrow :approve: .. still dont know if to go group n or 98ron though.. will the group n be over kill for an itg pannel filter & powerflow exhaust?
I got a black bee sting for sale, less than a month old.. £6 posted & have a rich brook brushed ali one with allen key screws to prevent easy theft for £8 posted... pm me if your interested ;)

So is this just 2 straight through silencers? if so think i'll get one to shut the power flow up, just dont wanna loose power if there not straight through silencers
So should i just drop the 5l bottle in then hope it reads good on the dip stick? also how much are filters from the dealers or am i better of buying one from some where like camberely auto factors?
Moving forward with getting my 172 how i want the next thing on my list is the exhaust, basically came with the car & dont want to spend £200+ on a new one as this looks in good nick.. but it hangs about 2" too low as you can see in the pick :( previous owner made the cut & i can lift it by hand...
Dont think so mate, tried looking a few weeks back myself, may be wrong though :S , currently use my old 1.2 for body fittings etc as it all seems the same, just engine & electrics are the thing that will catch me out
Mine was exaclty the same.. until new plugs :D... runs sweeeet now ;) , been told there ment to be good for 72,000 but mine were fudged at 52,000 :dapprove:
Really happy with it for that price.. although if the engine f***s up i may have diffrent thoughts.. although atleast i'll have a socket set to remove the old engine lol
Just been to halfords, got fully syn 5w40, & the free socket set, thought it was only going to be a cheap shite one but its a halfords pro range  , so £32 for 5l of oil & a socket set ;)
New plugs & itg filter installed... Runs sooo much better :D , Idle souns alot healthy when cold, main improvment is low rpm torque although this could be due to installing the new itg pannel filter, car just feels so much more responsive.. RStuner kit next, yea baby yea!!... & the spending...
Since your not making these mate any chance of a little info on how to make them or even what i would need? really fancy havin the dial surrounds done :)
Just been down to halfords to look at some new oil for the 172, was gonna go with some thing like mobil 1 for £50 but then halfords own brand caught my eye, not only is it £32 for 5litres of 5w30 fully synthetic that meets the specs of bmw & merc but they are throwing in a socket set worht £35...
