Exhaust hangs far too looooow

Moving forward with getting my 172 how i want the next thing on my list is the exhaust, basically came with the car & dont want to spend £200+ on a new one as this looks in good nick.. but it hangs about 2" too low as you can see in the pick previous owner made the cut & i can lift it by hand back into place so wonder if its just the rubber bracket thats shot, what do you guys reckon?? Any suggestions on how to get it back up as at the moment it looks abit chavy :dead:

Not just try fitting new rubber mounts, or playing about with the hangers?

The back mount looks fine, the way it should be !

I've got a bit of a prob with mine, a stealth (bit too low), am going to heat up the hangers and bend them so it will come further up.

I have the same issue with my stealth, might have to try that too!

They look fairly thick, i assume this is going to be no easy task right? gotta any tips?
