Not doing too badly so far.
Put £1K in initially on BC, moved 50% to LC a day later and showing reasonable growth......so far!
Thing is, how long to leave it!
Hello mate,
The spacers on the front bring the edge of the tyre level with the edge of the wheelarch which I prefer tbh. Wheels were originally fitted without them but they were soon fitted!
It's taken almost 4 weeks for the KWs to arrive and Scott has advised the fitting of the solid top...
I wasn't 100% sure how much of a visual difference going from 17" to 18" would make, especially with them being the same wheel.
Keep in mind the cost of the wheels for a Vee could be fairly classed as a rip off, it was a bit of a gamble!
Delighted with the result though, only an inch on the...
Got the 18's on, looks much better.
I like the wheels on a car to be at the very edge of the arches so, 20mm spacers to the rear and 15mm to the front and now they sit perfectly.
Perhaps it's time I should start growing old gracefully?
These have also arrived at SG, hopefully on in 2 to 3...
Collected my PH2 wheels yesterday.
Tyres on today and wheels done with C5, will be on the car tomorrow.
Also just heard my coilovers have been delivered!
It's getting there
Apparently not mate, they're made to order.
Ordered through SGMotorsports and I assume they're V6 specific meaning they wouldn't be a huge demand for them.
It was the same when I bought ClubSports for my R53 Mini GP. The fronts were a R53 fit and the rears were a R56 fit and they had to be made...
Not much of an update,
Spacers, bolts and tyres are here, as will be the wheels by Thursday night, C5 and tyres will be done Friday and they'll be on the car on Saturday.
All that's needed then is for KW to get their thumb out of their trumpet and make my coilovers!
Thanks for the info mate.
20mm spacers and bolts ordered today.
Your car sits very well, trying to be Mr Patient here until KW send my stuff to SGMotorsports.
Yeh, I was talking to the tyre guy today.
I'd prefer SuperSport over PilotSport4 and can get them in the sizes you've said. Was sure I'd seen somewhere that you had 35 profiles on the rear.
Does the sidewall look in proportion with the 40 profiles? 98mm as opposed to almost 86mm for the 35...
Things are starting to move along nicely!
New steering wheel now fitted,
New seats are being fitted Thursday,
KW V3 coilovers ordered,
A BNIB set of PH2 wheels sourced.
Slowly getting there
Not yet sure what happened after the statement "I'm not going to do much with it".
No idea mate, it's down with Jack@Royal.
I looking more to would a 2002 Clio boss fit a 2002 V6 steering column.
I can't see why it shouldn't, spoken to a few suppliers but no one gives a definitive answer if the boss is V6 specific or if a 2002 Clio one would fit.
Trying to find a steering wheel boss to fit a Sparco wheel and not having much luck!
Anyone aware if it's just a std Clio size?
Car is a 2002 PH1 so would one to fit a 2002 Clio fit or is the V6 one different?
Many thanks.
I got it from the guy in the eBay link.
Spotted a pic somewhere of a car with one fitted and the owner pointed me in that direction.
Still fighting off Cromadora wheels here :anguished:
Let's be honest here,
No-one is really going to think "Oooh, I want a fast car. I've just sold a CSL and a V8 M3 that weren't quick enough, I'll get a Clio V6, that ought to do it".
This has been bought for what it is, not for how it goes
Ahhh, sorry mate, I ought to have known I was preaching to the converted
The amount of help I've had of you and I assume you didn't know about them.....if you want me I'll be sat in the corner over there somewhere :grimacing:
Thought long and hard about the sticker, was only £5 so well worth a go.
It was never going to look bland without it but, with it on it seems to break the blandness of the spoiler.....for now anyhow
The hairdryer is never far away
@mossyv6
It's this one Paul.
Bit of fettling needed but all good in the end.

Apologies for asking this when, if I'd taken the time to look, there is a great post in the stickies as Austin - 182 and mossyv6 pointed out!
Anyhow, grovelling over :tongueout:
