What did you have mate? Ah yeh the link road is awesome and saves loads of time.. I was in a work van when I seen you, but I have a BMW 330cd whilst the cup is off the road..
The change was down to money and the car was getting tired.. So I got rid of it and freed up some cash and got a cup...
Yes mate I remember that well.. Glad to see you have gone for an awesome colour 182.. You around Filton a fair bit now? I've spotted you about 3times now.. How you finding it?
Just go over everything you did, double check that the discs are meeting the hub face straight and not bolted on wonky, clean all the faces up and check the wheels are balanced etc.. Can't imagine it being that much with said symptoms.. Hope you find the cause mate..
Possibly still warped discs?
had this before in work where we had a bad batch of discs which made the van/car feel awful under breaking.. Do you have access to a DTI gauge?
Perfect example of some reading into nothing but looks.. It's not just a case of a 10mm drop, it's the difference in the characteristic change of the car aswell.
I use this in work for inspecting vans and trucks.. Awesome bit of kit, they sell them in Shell garages currently for £4.99.. I have had about 10 off them so far ha..
Following on from this, rather then opening a new thread, when I fit the new bushes do I press them in right up to the taper or do I stop further back?
Thanks
I think more and more people know now a days that its not all about pub figures.. Same with my build, should be good for around 360-380bhp but it's going to be completely unusable in a car that weighs 950kgs.. So it will be much less then that..
I think 280bhp is good power for a track car...
Manfrotto have a good write up I believe.. I bought mine in Dubai. Searched in loads of shops till I found a decent made heavy and sturdy one.. Was pretty cheap too. Was well chuffed..
