I've just done the upgrade from one box up to seperates. The difference is day and night and I'm over the moon with it.
Looked around for a couple of days and was going to go for the Denon AVR1713.. But in the end decided to go for the extra and get the AVR2113, it's an amazing piece of kit...
No mate, not if you don't want to.. 172 Cup dampers are very slightly stiffer so you'll get less roll and stuff, but for the road, your dampers will be perfectly fine.. If they wear out then by all means go for Cup ones..
If it isn't broke, don't fix it. Hope this helps..
Just fit the Cup rear dampers, if the bolt spacing allows fit the front but it's not of high importance, it'll make a small difference.. Cooksport Springs and 172 Cup dampers.. It'll be spot on.. Good enough for plenty of fast road and track abuse mate.. You'll really be getting the most out of...
It all depends what you want out of your car, if you want to do fast road driving, a road blast every now and again and track driving, if you want your Clio to handle amazing and have a decent amount of 'lows' the Cooksport springs and Clio 172 Cup Dampers..
If you just want your Clio 'slammed'...
I went to Autosport today at the Birmingham NEC, loads of cameras and loads of gear floating around, one thing that caught my eye was a tripod, bolted to the tripod was an arm on a pivot and on one end was a load of weights, on the other end was the camera. What is the idea behind this? He was...
I was also wanting to know the answer to this, if I have my BMW as my daily but use my Clio as a Summer Fast Road/Track Car, can they do like a short term policy where they know I'm only driving it for 6months of the year on the road and the rest it is stored..
With a Rollcage and Race Seats...
Is there a decent Odour eliminator to buy for the interior? Will probably use new car scent air fresheners or similar but want to keep it smelling fresh inside when I clean the inside..
Thanks
It all sounds fairly simple.. How much would you benefit by fitting longer trumpets to an RS2 manifold if you removed as much out the way as possible.. Slam panel, Rad etc??
Would the cost be worth the gains?
Welcome mate, quite a few from Bristol, also Cooksport being a local Renault tuner for when you wanna enhance an already awesome car.. Good choice. Arctic Blue is a truly awesome colour!!
Get along to some meets if you can buddy..
Right okay, so I understand about why people use a RS2 etc etc.
I've got a question, I'm not doubting anything for a second and have never driven an RS2 equipped 172/182..
If for instance you have a 172 with an RS2 fitted and it's mapped and it makes 190bhp 150ftlbs, to some people they would...
Is there not any decent gear for shooting outdoors in the rain? Could get some good shots. But obviously would be very limited.. I know underwater cases etc can be bloody expensive..
It works fairly well on the detailing chat.. As long as you subscribe and visit regularly. If I see something that interests me, I always save the link..
I converted it to NM first of all, then did the equation after that.. Both the graphs have the cross over at 5252ish. So just wondering what was going wrong?
Not sure who it was mate, but yeh I think say of you posted the link of a good product and then people can gauge an interest of decent products to compliment their photos..
So if you do this calculation to work out BHP and it comes up with a completely different figure then is it:
A) I've done the sums wrong?
B) The BHP is wrong?
C) The Torque is wrong?
D) Anything else?
Think it'll be easy and pretty simple. The detailing thread works very well.. Like I seem someone got a 10 stop ND filter the other day, would be nice to know where from and how much.. Everyone will benefit in some way..
