I love how they put holes in the bumper for "styling" and just fill them with what looks like chicken mesh wire. Awesome!

They look silver coated to the eye. When in use they are still orange so you should be fine.

Buy a decent enclosed induction so the filter isnt open in the engine bay is another option. They cost more money of course but then dont suffer from this problem.
