Not sure how old it was, just put me off them. I know plenty of people using for logging etc without issue but I just wouldn't trust one for codes.

Had two phase 1s in, both with eml on, rstuner brought up no codes and said eml was off. Never tried one since.

They don't read zero, can't remember what they do read but that sounds familiar.

Wouldn't trust rstuner to tell me what day of the week it was!!!!!

graph it, chances are it's slow switching.

gets emissions to settle down, some just fly through others need a bit of messing with. without knowing or looking at live data for lambda sensor i'd guess possibly 200 cell cat and cams not helping.

am sure you could find a spherical bearing and just make a sleeve for it and set it up that way.

think it's only the rears there was always an issue with struggling to get correct one?

any idea if they kept idle high for a few minutes?

the rubber ring is normally floppy in the housing, get it out and get a loads of silicone etc at the top of the housing and around where it sits. fit it back in and get some more silicone in if you can, next bit you need an extra circlip, fit one but instead of letting it fit in the groove go...

i normally smack them with a hammer to get the rust off, chisel on the inside of the brackets.

95% of electrical issues i've come across have been a cheap simple fix, it's just finding them that's the pain in the bum!!

any dash earths off give few issues so unlikely them,

pretty common, looks like it's a manufacturing issue, generally looks like someone has almost cut through it. surprising how many different makes have similar wiring issues.

Got it with a hammer a couple of times, normally sorts them.

Everything else working ok? Dash lights cycling as they Should? Does car start?

What was the figure and did they just start test or hold higher idle to get figures down? Could be how it's mapped, lambda sensor iffy etc.

White wire in main loom towards rear of gearbox I'm guessing?

Boosted 1.6, cheaper, easier and still gets you 220bhp ish ?

Tripod come out of the cup? Shouldn't of but sounds like it has.

White connector at bottom of the fuse box. If earth from battery wasn't tight then 99% that will of been your problem.

bit low but nothing to worry about, from what it's doing it could be a dicky battery though if connections are 100% ok.

give the battery a good charge and get it drop tested.

check voltage on cranking first.

nothing, they look ok if everything is clean.
