Belts are different length due to some runningthe waterpump. Renault are lazy and it wouldn't surprise me if they were the same size.
Plus you will be fine with a floating pulley.
flashing eml is an injector, just because they read correct when you test them doesn't mean they do when under load or get warm. get it plugged in and see what it comes up with,
i always go for outer, had one in where the belt had lost the inner rib and it had jumped the timing. probably psychological but that extra gap could help if the belt goes.
