Read this a few times and to be honest can't give an answer, only thing I've noticed with my phase 1 is on full lock it feels doesn't really want to come back but that could just be caster angle as not had it set properly tjough.
No one that I've fitted one for has said anything either.
had one the other month with 197 cams that was the same top end, thought it was being held back, we knew cam timing was spot on so went with exhaust, didn't do back pressure test, possibly on standard cat and think it was scorpion system? stuck a pms manifold back on, back to tweak the map...
i've used them with it hooked up without issues. got a load of them years ago, only had one go faulty in that time. killed a few though when i've dropped the ramp down on them.
i've got a few tarmac rally cars and one forest car running them and they've been fine so far. only downside is you can't get a quick rack conversion for the dci rack.
with 197 cams they seem to do over 190bhp, couple been over 195bhp. the first inlet they did though seemed to give the best results, on same/similar spec the second one wasn't as good. only seen one on the latest one, can't remember the figures but was poor, think was only about 185bhp?
when...
the funny thing was everything dropped off it no problem and shifting through it but somehow the last third of the job took forever, not like anything went wrong either!!
mod the oil pressure relief valve to keep pressure at high revs, seen a few now killing bottom ends so if i've got a sump...
nothing on gp n sorry. know a couple that have been done and they didn't give any noticeable gains over standard. can't remember if i was speaking to chris about the gp n timing on them and it possibly not working that well with the set up? could be wrong though as it was couple of years ago.
Not checked yet but apparently it's in the book for this year but reads as it can be anywhere but it it's within reach from the seat can't be adjusted so imagine lockwire etc would be ok?
Need to check though as got one to do over next couple of weeks.
not worth the messing around for the sake of £20 to have a bearing swapped over. i use a 50t press and half the bearings i do take a fair whack to get them moving!!
is there an echo in here?
