I've got brembo HC disks with standard pads on my Cup as thats easily good enough, i'd put in Dot 4 personally as it has a longer life span to Dot 5.1 if your not tracking/racing all the time. Stainless steel braided lines are a well worth purchase also.
Cheers for putting that matey, that saved me the hassle of typing it out! :)
But yeah pretty much what Ben has put really settles this pointless thread.
All this 'how many Cups will be written off this year' is now getting quite boring. It should really be 'how many prats with 172's that can't drive' crash there car this winter...
Coilovers and thats it! Would look perfect just like that I reckon, if you start putting other red bits on it I think it will take the uniqueness of the wheels away.
I reckon get the ph2 lights and colourcode the side strips and it will look awesome!
Cheers all for the comments!
Yeah there Matts old seats.
They cost money ;)
They are mega comfy! But I guess it depends on person sitting in them though tbh, they hug you like nothing else with just the right amount of padding.
Its a bit of love hate car matey, loving it at the...
Suede with carbon backs, there Porsche GT3 replica seats. They hold you better than the previous Autostyle seats, are slightly lighter and much comfier, plus for the money paid for them I couldnt really turn them down... I know they wont be to everyones taste being a replica seat, but seeing as...
So a small update, car turned over 97,000 miles last month so it went to JMS for the Aux belt, oil and oil filter to keep the service history up... Was getting a bit fed up of the current bucket seats as they were getting a bit much to drive around in all the time, so I here from a friend that...
I had Avo's on my Mk1, were very good on that but I dont think many people on here use them on the Mk2's...
I've got a set of Vmaxx coilovers on mine and to me they perform well! Can be had for under £350 also. There only height adjustable though in comparison to the Avos.
Go for it I reckon, if I had the money to supercharge my Cup I know for definate I would be doing it! As you've said as long as you enjoy it which no doubt you will it will be worth every penny!
