If you are that rational when buying a car, why did you get the S2000 over a VX? I mean when you look at it logically, the reasons why you would choose an S2000 over a VX are the exact same reasons why you should take a CTR over a 182?

What about the CTR? That has more space, is more comfortable and you will get a better deal if you take your S2000 down. Plus the build quality will be more what you are used to. I cannot honestly see you saving much money on running costs though.

I tend to drive by ear so I dont use the light. Does catch me out though when its cold as the limiter comes in early. I find on my commute home even after 15 mins of driving it still comes in early.

I am not buying either of those times, for the Clio or the Megane. There is no way the Clio was a 10 seconder, gear ratios or no gear ratios. I could tell by that peak acceleration in any gear that it just was no where near that quick.

The current 182 is also based on an equally dated design. I am sure those MGs are quite nice, I have sat in the MG version of the Rover 25 and it seemed quite nice. Id definitely keep it, you will just get screwed over if you sell it now.
