130bhp.
127 per tonne.
Evo have it down as 8.0 to 60, 25.3 to 100. Thats independently tested as well by the way.
Top speed is around 127, think thats Fiats figure though but it sounds consistent with the power output.
Makes me laugh, you see all these designers and students come out with the most fantastic sketches of concepts and yet with the exception of the TVR Sagaris every new car that is released these days looks sh1te!
Ok I know there are a number of reasons why real world designs cant look much like...
It will be a choice between the new Clio or the new CTR I expect. Just as I had to choose between the 182 and current CTR.
I will buy which ever offers the best balance of performance, spec and price.
The fact that I currently own a Renault regardless of whether the experiences are good or...
I would expect most 172s to be easily on a par with my 6 month old 54 plate 182 due to them having a nice loose motor.
As for an 05 plate, well I reckon my 4k 182 would pull a good few lengths on one of those in a straight line given how much better mine is now compared to when it was new.
Funnily enough my mate has had more trouble with his CTR than I have had with my 182. Same applied to his BMW when I had a Vectra. Who would have thought.
I bought my 182 on the grounds that it was as fast, had more toys and whilst it would be more unreliable the trade off would be saving a...
What a plonker, when will these people learn. If that car had been kept as standard and just given a wash and polish it would probably sell for £1000 more than what he is finally gonna get for it.
I find the limiter is still coming in early after 15 minutes or so in my car! Its a b**ch for getting warmed up properly. I guess that smaller engines warm up quicker though.

Yeah mine is black and white. The pictures are a lot better on the TV as my capture device is rubbish. Dont think dusting for prints was...
Doesnt have a Cup spoiler.
To be honest I dont think much of those front and rear bumpers. They look too big for the car and if this new Clio doesnt have more power it just seems like over the top styling.
That car looks like some sort of chavy max power job. When I look at those pics I do...
Same thing happened to my old mans Vectra on halloween a few years back. Two eggs hit it, one on the bonnet and one of the mirror. Took the paint right down to the primer in a similar pattern to the picture above.
Do you have a life?
If so dont get a black one as they take up far too much time as you have to polish them constantly to stop it looking crap.
Racing blue is low maintenance with Titanium being the easiest of all.
I personally like the look of inferno but my favourite colour is that...
Its a safety feature incase as you are walking away from the car the key button accidentally gets pressed in your pocket and unlocks the door etc.
If you dont open the door after unlocking it then it will lock itself after about 30 secs.
22, 0 no claims....
Id have gone for that C2.
The new RS Clio wont be high insurance in my opinion, will probably be group 16. Definitely get Cup packs or a Cup depending on what you can afford. IMO its not worth upgrading the seats as I doubt you will be doing track days and fitting...
I owned two 1.2 16vs before I had my Vectra and then the 182. When my 182 broke down before delivery I was given a DCI 80 courtesy car.
If I were getting another cheap car I would definitely get the DCI. It felt way quicker than the 1.2, more so under 60 as I think over 60 there wasnt that...
I am going to try it, I have only ever driven with it off briefly, dont like pressing buttons in the Clio for fear things get stuck on/off etc! It does get on my nerves coming off roundabouts I have to admit.
So does the ESP light come on when the TC only cuts in?
Ah so the light doesnt come on when you say wheelspin in a straight line and the TC cuts in?
Funnily enough I cant remember if I have seen it come on in that situation like when wheel spinning in a straight line in the wet.
I can only remember seeing the light when accelerating off a...
I have had mine drifting sideways and the ESP did not come on.
The only time the traction control comes on is in the wet in first gear as you go past 5000rpm.
In the dry and in second gear onwards the traction control never comes on unless I am going over 5000rpm in second whilst taking a...
Oh yeah can definitely imagine it being quicker coming off of roundabouts with ESP off as you are accelerating whilst turning. It really holds the car back and yet you can feel that if it wasnt kicking in the car would be able to go quicker.
But yeah I dont see it making a difference on a dead...
I know in the wet if I put my foot down in first gear the TC doesnt come in until after the kick and it is very noticeable when the TC starts working. These Clios are gutless before the kick so why would the TC need to be cutting in?
I mean why would ESP work before the kick and the suddenly...
I am not buying this argument that the ESP is slowing the car down prior to the kick at 5k.
If I time my car on a 30 to 70 run with ESP on and ESP off I doubt it would make any difference. The car is not going spin the wheels at 4k rpm in 2nd gear on a dry tarmac as it doesnt have enough power...
Just a gitch, maybe...

I have only ever used Optimax but that didnt stop my exhaust light coming on and going off on its own a few days later.
The story about Optimax being made up of Octane boosters that evaporate and leave you with 95 RON fuel is an urban myth no doubt created by Shells rivals.
The fuel you get...
