Yeah I work in IT how did you guess? A supplier paid for it but to be honest its well worth paying to go just for the Jag.
I went first time in August 03 which was my first ever track day and my first time in RWDs. I could have gone a month or so back but the forecast was for rain so I wouldnt...
Funnily enough I did badly in the Clio too (91s - 21st place out of 30 drivers) and Ive owned a couple of Clios
Yet I was always in the top places for the rear wheel drive cars despite having never driven one prior to that day!
The left hand drive sequential change in the Clio got...
I have found my pressure washer to be nothing short of completely useless when it comes to washing the car. At best it is no better than a hose pipe (but takes longer to set up) and at worse the high pressure can cause damage and lead to problems like condensation in the headlamps.
It is...
Mine will be delivered to my door apparently, figured it was quite normal for dealers not to want their names known to anyone other than the broker as they are not complying with Renaults price fixing scheme and could get in trouble?
Anyway none of those people that ordered in May/June/July...
Surely how often depends on the colour of the car?
I found with my silver cars regardless of the polish used I just couldnt tell the difference between the polished and unpolished parts. I could feel the difference by rubbing my hand or a cloth over the body work but looks wise there was...
I am buying online through a broker so they are waiting for the dealer to contact them. They wont tell me who the dealer is.
Afraid to phone the broker to be honest as I fear I would be given a similar date to yours. Was told it would be 13th of September on the phone, they then sent a letter...
I remember a discussion a couple of weeks back regarding delivery dates. I ordered my 182 mid June and have so far heard absolutely nothing.
I remember some of you saying you had ordered your cars a month or so after mine and were expecting to pick them up mid Sept. I guess if you are going to...
Looks ok, if a tad high. No doubt it will look a fair bit different when it is finally released so those of you into cosmetics should cool off.
Dont know what the fuss is about though to be honest.
We already knew this car would be an NCAP 5 star. This is bound to result in a heavier car...
What sort of batty Magistrate or Jury would not consider that to be beyond reasonable doubt?!?! Its a frickin joke.
By the way the lads doing the thieving in our road were using an old Metro. They drive up at 2am with the headlights off. Seems like these old easy to nick cars are the main...
Damn shame when like me you dont have ICE due to the theft issue and then you get broken into anyway. Makes me think about removing my parcel shelf so they can see with their own eyes. I wouldnt even change the head unit for fear that they might think there is more out of sight.
I have CCTV...
Next Feb? Get your contract out plus a calculator and check the figures. It may well be that you can hand it back now as you often reach a break-even point after about 28 months.
A mate at work has the same worries as you, he has stains on his seats plus a few scratches that are slightly...
Now there is a proper car, how can anyone say the V6 looks better?!?! You can tell by looking at it that it is superior in every aspect of the performance envelope.
With regards to the picture, I see plenty of sports cars driving out of my works car park and the owners all look like that...
I have read all the posts and my conclusion is as follows:
Mr Mercs original question was quite a fair one and it seems that this thread is far longer than it needed to be!
The simple truth and answer to Mr Mercs question is that the original story that Mr Merc heard/read was false or...
Not worth stretching yourself financially. Only takes the slightest mishap to tip you over the edge.
Easy to get caught by a camera van and get a few points on your licence....
Easy for some nob to vandalise your car....
Non of those will help your premiums much. Id rather have the VTS...
Well on paper a £13k 2.0 Clio is "little" and "poxy" compared to a £23k 3.2 V6 Golf! I was pointing out that in the real world there is little difference and used those words to disrespect the Golf not the Clio!
This is a silly discussion! I dont even rate the V6 that highly but if its a choice between that or an R32 its a no contest in favour of the V6.
VWs are for mummys boys that wear woolly jumpers and live at home until they are 40.
Also it says a lot that as a Renault owner I can talk about...
Here we go again! Buy neither, get a VX220 Turbo!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway the R32 was only half a second quicker around the top gear test track than the poxy little 182 despite costing twice as much!
