i was thinking about welding something on actually, shoudnt be too hard as we have a welder at work, drilling it out and fitting a helicoil kit would b the last option, im pretty useless considering i work as a metal turning engineer LOL
been quoted just above 3k at 18, so hopefully once im 19 it should go down a but more, might go lower if i add some named drivers onto the policy aswell ;)
Im currently breaking a clio and as expected some of the bolts are rusty, the two bolts on one side of the bonnet have snapped leaving the thread in the hole, whats the best way to remove them?, i dont think i could get mole grips on them? any ideas are much appreciated ;)
ive got fk 40mm and mine scrapes on speedbumps, handling is better but not great, save up and buy coilovers! There about £200 for some lower end ones or you can get a decent set off here for about that second hand, Problem i have is the back end feels a bit sloppy, im saving for coilovers ;)
Cant wait to get a quad on the road, ive had one for years offroad!, Way more fun than a bike IMO, i want a raptor but all ive got is a honda trx250 and a honda ex250 ;(
thing is though mate i pay £2000 for a car worth £1200, my mate who just passed pays £3200 for a 1.2 16v mk1!, insurance takes the piss but my thoughts were that i may aswell get the real deal rather than paying to insure any mods on the 1.6 :(
i currently pay £2000 for the 1.6 16v, i would pay up to £3500 for a clio sport, i have a decent job and a my age i dont have that many bills to pay so may aswell use the money for something :)
Hopefully i will be able to insure one soon, Just wondering the cheapest places to use?, i have some decent money to insure one. Advice will be much appreciated ;)
never buy a car modded buy someone else as they are usually s**t, just do basic things to the car yourself or get someone to do it then atleast you know its done right, Im sure the insurance would be much different for a 1.2 16v would it? when i got my first year driving insurance i though...
Personally i wouldnt do a 182 rep as people will race you thinkin its a 2.0, I would just work with what you have got, Get down to the main things like lowering and a decent set of rims, you wont believe the difference those 2 things will make, Here is a picture of mine, i went for the euro...
i know hundreds of people who havent declared any mods and havent been caught...., The people that are accusing are the ones who dont understand what its like, For them it will cost £50 to add the mods on but for me its £500...., I am going to declare mine becuase i can now afford it but i can...
