Ye i was thinking of getting a hidden exhaust, the exhaust looks like it sticks out in the picture but it really doesnt its no bigger than the standard 172 exhaust to be honest. i think you can get away with wheels these days i mean most people change wheels at some point and i bet 99% of them...
YES 2k and i know my friends who has just passed pays £3500 for a mk1 1.2.., What am i supposed to do pay even more to insure it?, i am going to insure the suspension because i know that wont make a huge difference but im not sure about the rest.
i have been modifying my car for the last couple of months, nothing stupid , Lowered 40mm deep dish alloys with stretched tyres, twin exhaust and a couple of other bits, I know not one of my mates have insured anything they have done but is this a good idea?? i have been pulled a couple of times...
Lexus lights (Tick)
Angel eyes (Tick
Wolfrace rims (Tick)
Too much carbon(Tick)
Tipical chaved up clio, Less is more these days, change the lights back, Get some dish or put standard wheels back on and colour code and your on to a winner
Looks good mate, Personally i would get coilovers and some deep dish wheels if not you need to space the wheels out to improve the stance further but it does look good!
slam it on coilovers, colour code or smooth, get some dish (or alloys that are different), de wiper the rear and i think the spoiler that comes standard on the other models would look good :)
i was looking for cams but couldnt find anything, i know its a pretty rare car. Do you know where i could get any of the things you mentioned from? cheers
i want to make my 1.6 16v clio faster, it goes pretty good standard and seeing as its the only car im going to be able to insure for a couple of years i may aswell try and get more form it. 110 hp standard. Just want to know what parts give the best results.
Please dont comment saying its a s**t...
get spacers mate, i would go for 15mm huncentric, whatever you do dont buy the halford shim ones or non hubcentric as they are just not safe, (trust me ive been there:P) you can get em on ebay :)
Yer it still happens every week, Best to go later though as police turn up about 5-7, i usualy go either really early or sometime after 10, Anyone see me there yesterday? i was in the black clio with dep dish and stretched tyres?
Heres how my clio stands at the minute
Ive done:
Lowered 40mm
twin exhaust
15x rims with stretched tyres
painted the clio badge black
tinted the front fogs
Pressed plates
Thats it so far
im Planning:
coilovers
might do some smoothing if not colour coding
i was thinking maybe a yellow tinted...
Get rid of the rims, Makes it look like a 4wd, Or at least lower it so you cant see the tyres, get rid of the mudflaps, debadge, de wiper, colour code, Smooth, This look would have been ok 4 years back but things have changed ;)
i have steelies on my clio at the minute and they look great but i just dont like the way they ride and the fact that i have to drive about 30mph everywhere coz they are so wide and hit the arches, Im looking for some 15inch rims, Dish would be nice, Black is prefered but doesnt matter really, i...
Im having problems getting my wheels to clear my clio rear brake calipers, ive got 10mm spacers on but there still catching, other problem is that the wheels i bought have a 63.4mm bore and the clio hub is 60.1, I thought about hubcentrics but they only seem to be available in 15mmplus, my dad...
i have a set of banded steelies on my clio but the bore on the wheels are 63.4 and clio hubs are 60.1 so i need spigot rings to stop the vibration!, i dont want to drive it with vibration as it doesnt feel good!, anyone know where i can find some?, There is a website call customspigotrings but...
Main thing i wanted to do was to keep it simple, i cant stand all these body kits and random trash that you just dont need!, Im pretty happy with it now but theres still a list as long as my arm to do, so far ive done:
Lowered 40mm (only on springs) cant afford coilovers ;(
custom made exhaust...
Hi, i fitted these wheels today and stretched tyres, they have caught the inner arch by the looks of it, although i didnt here them catching ;(, I am gettin the arches rolled and then reffiting them but my two rear tyres have gauges in all the way round, im not sure if this would be classed as...
he only has a few sets of them and they are rare really, he had 20 sets to start with but how many will you see on a clio? im thinking 2 sets max, i was going to go down the bbs root but changed my mind, i want to be a bit different with them, heres another picture i got today which is ALOT...
Cant lower it any more, its scrapes like f**k as it is, i live in the country (as you can probably tell form the barn in the background) so theres fukin cow s**t and mud everywhere ;( it does sit lower than that, i literally had just dropped it form the jack when i took this pik so springs...
